Nice set but slightly let down by flimsy wiring, otherwise everything you need is here to install them yourself or hire a professional. Decent quality at a decent price.

I've always trusted the Annkee brand but have tried many others, this model was easy to setup, sends alerts, easy to configure motion and very versatile. I have 3 separate addresses connected to the app and it's easy to view any location.

This review is for ANNKE 8CH 5MP Lite Wired Security Camera System, H.265+...I have bought a couple of these systems. One for a neighbor. It has served well on a couple of neighborhood incidents. One involved a shooting (no one was hurt). The cameras captured the incident and the police asked for a copy of the videos which I gave them. One officer commented that this system is better than nearly all of them he has seen. This has been running fine 24/7 for years with no failures thus far. Annke makes many systems and many cameras. Higher end cameras, like full color night vision and PTZ are available as add-ons to the basic system. Annke support is fast and reliable. You can find details on the Annke website and answers to any questions. They stay on any issue until it is solved.This is my honest review, for which I received no compensation nor would I accept same.-Jim

Before we installed them we tested them and the box started to smoke. I had to go and buy a whole new set from Best Buy since I had the installer at my home already. The cameras worked fine but the box didn’t and I’m glad we tested them because it was a fire hazard.

The video quality is ok. There's obviously better out there, but you're going to pay for it. Night vision on the cameras is OK. Again, not great. Bit of a glare on them when it gets dark, and distance it picks up is greatly reduced. More than I honestly expected it to be. They've held up through two storms, so there's at least that positive. Daylight hours the cameras do the job well enough.Update: The night vision clarity on the cameras has drastically decreased. Almost pointless to have them, except during the day. Unless there's something I'm doing incorrectly on my end, I'm not pleased at all.

Before we installed them we tested them and the box started to smoke. I had to go and buy a whole new set from Best Buy since I had the installer at my home already. The cameras worked fine but the box didn’t and I’m glad we tested them because it was a fire hazard.

The video quality is ok. There's obviously better out there, but you're going to pay for it. Night vision on the cameras is OK. Again, not great.
