This JB Weld Plastic Bonder had good reviews. The white plastic piece in the picture is behind the button that opens my microwave oven's door. The button pivots the white piece which in turn shuts off the oven, releases the door latch and turns on the interior light. One of the pivot pins on the white piece broke off, leaving me with an oven that wouldn't work. An hour or two of searching online yielded no replacement part. I decided to try to repair it until I could find a replacement part. I was skeptical that gluing the pieces would work but read about the JB Weld Plastic Bonder (the thought of throwing a microwave into the landfill over a broken $2 plastic part galls me!) and decided to give it a try. I cleaned both parts with isopropyl alcohol, mixed the product according to the directions and glued and clamped the pieces. The next morning I reinstalled the part by snapping it forcefully into place. I was shocked when the effort required to snap it in place didn't cause the repair to fail. I reassembled the oven and put it back into service. That was at least two weeks ago. We probably use the microwave oven more than twenty times per day and so far the repair has held up. We've not treated the button gingerly, either. I'm very impressed!

As always, JB Weld for the win. I had to fix all 4 of my light assemblies on my vehicle as this last winter the retainers some how snapped and were barely hanging on. They are all perfect otherwise and I was not going to spend $300 (+/-) to replace all of them so I decided to save myself roughly $293. It is relatively easy to work with but I could see the possibility of it getting messy. There was a slight odor but nothing strong, performed the repair in my livingroom. Thankfully this wasn't a visible repair so I didn't care how pretty it looked as long as it fixed my problem, and it did. I've only ever used JB Weld for situations like this, never had any problems with their products.

This product worked great! We had a separation between the bumper plastic and the wheel well that we were about to spend thousands of dollars on to fix. Did some research and found this external car glue and it was worth a try for under $10!We used the glue and tried to hold it for 8 minutes or so (instructions say 6 minutes) and it unglued immediately. We decided to try a wood clamp and walked away for 30 minutes and, lo and behold, it worked! It glued so tight that we went on a 2000+ mile road trip a few days later and it withstood the wind and heavy rain.I wouldn’t say it was as quick to dry as expected, but definitely did its job! I would absolutely recommend this and will use it again, if necessary! Pretty sure this is what body shops use and will charge thousands. Totally worth the money!

When I removed the lid, it shot out like a geyser, dousing my clothes in a black liquid that it’s impossible to remove. This unfortunate incident occurred with a new pair of clothes that I’m currently wearing, so please be cautious.

I accidentally punched a hole in my car-washing bucket with a hammer. I won't bore you with the very interesting and ridiculously specific way in which this happened, but, I will say this stuff patched up the hole and sealed it tight and has thus far remained sealed. I can fill the bucket to capacity and it holds strong! doesn't leak a drip!PLUS, since this is in a syringe, it's simple to use and doesn't go bad. (Wish these folks would get their UV glue in on that sweet, sweet syringe game and ditch the weird dinky tube with a light on it they've got now!)

Was thinking I would need to replace it, as the clip was so small and delicate. I decided to try this JB Weld first, as it seemed a bit of a waste replacing it.Mixes fine, doesn’t smell, and is easy to work with.Cure time seems longer than 15 min to me, but that may be because I had to hold it in place until set.Next morning the repair seems really solid. I applied extra adhesive around the repair for additional strength, as this is not a visible repair.Overall very satisfied.

Es un gran producto, nunca había usado un pegamento epóxico, y para ser la primera vez ha resultado muy bien. Logré pegar una pieza rota de mi laptop. Esta pieza forma parte del soporte de la bisagra izquierda, al inicio creí que no soportaría el movimiento constante, pero seguí las recomendaciones y tips de otros usuarios, lijar un poco la superficie (utilicé un pedazo de lija fina pegada a un picadiente debido a que el espacio era bastante reducido), limpiar (usé un cotonete mojado con alcohol isopropilico), luego apliqué el pegamento y dejé secar por alrededor de unos 4-5 días sin aplicar movimientos y el resultado fue bastante satisfactorio, el pegamento seca en color negro un poco esmalte, pero en mi caso no se nota tanto porque el chasis de la laptop es negra. En fin, funciona muy bien y es muy resistente, lo recomiendo mucho, te va a funcionar si sigues las instrucciones.
Great “plastic maker”.
Bought it to repair the windshield pillar on my car.After mixing the product it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to start becoming harder. After an hour it hardens and it has a little rubbery texture.I sanded it and painted it afterwards, great result and easy to use.
Works very well. Easy to use
Used on a high stress plastic joint (chainsaw pole pruner). Set quickly and bonded very well. Very effective repair.
