Rated to 250°C for up to 15 seconds, the Phoenix provides a skin-protecting barrier when working with high temperature items. Specially selected double-layered leather additionally defends the palm and key wear areas against abrasions. A one-piece leather layer on the palm is enhanced with an articulated second layer to allow exceptional freedom of movement as you work. All combined with DuPont Kevlar double stitched seams to brace an incredibly durable glove.

I was sick of my gloves breaking during gigs when they’re still relatively new so I was ready to throw down cash to put these gloves to the test. I was concerned they might be too bulky for regular use and only good for handling hot lighting instruments. That is not the case at all. They were comfortable when brand new and broke in easily. Florida summers are brutally hot, but these were breathable enough to wear outside doing staging all day. Tactile feedback isn’t bad at all considering these are not at all trying to be a minimalist glove. Best of all, they’re still in one piece! I’ve only had them a few months, but they’ve gotten loads of use and abuse and still going strong.
