Very sturdy for side wall speakers. I've ran into one several times before placing a cat tower under it to avoid running into the speaker in the dark. I was able to run the speaker cable down the middle for no show cabling.

I never write reviews but this product is worth it - had to ceiling mount a pair of very chunky Behringer B2030P studio monitors (15.4 lb each). These mounts are ROCK solid. The speakers are very secure and the option of angling the speakers toward the listener is great. Bought a returned pair of these mounts for $25 and worth every cent. Extremely heavy duty.

I bought these to mount some bookshelf speakers on the ceiling as height speakers. I know it’s not standard practice to use bookshelf speakers as height speakers or to mount height speakers on the ceiling pointed down but it’s what I did. Klipsch speakers sound great but have poor mounting solutions usually 1 3/8 bolt in the back. Originally I mounted them upright and I had to extend the mount all the way out and it was hideous honestly. So I ended up cutting them in half and then cutting half the speaker mount off as well and putting 1” screws through the plate into the back of the speaker. My biggest issue with these mounts is how long they are on the lowest setting. It’s nice that they are adjustable and that you can change the angle but for a ceiling mount I would want one that keeps the speaker closer to the ceiling. Most people use flush mounted speakers but they sound terrible. Overall great mounts, very sturdy and I have no doubts the speakers will stay up there. The only thing I would change is the length and maybe more holes in the speaker mount side. Could save people a lot of drilling and cutting when trying to mount in an area with lower ceilings

These worked great. I was able to hang both speakers from my basement ceiling in roughly twenty minutes.I simply marked the screw holes in the joists using the top portion, screwed them in, then screwed the bottom portion into the top of each speaker. The I easily attached the two together (this was easy since each speaker is only about ten pounds).

These mounts are sturdy and meant for hanging from the ceiling, not side mounting from a wall. Perfect for my ATMOS height speakers. I bolted directly into ceiling joists, and skipped any dry wall screws. I also painted the screws and bolts mate black. I have no complaints, but i'll probably check the main nut once a year to see if they have loosened at all.

Despite what's shown in the pics and the tilt angles available, these are absolutely not suitable for support a speaker in any configuration other than hanging. A singular bolt connects between the rod and the tilt bracket, which means it can spin no matter how tight you make it. There is nothing that prevents this rotation.Furthermore, the tilt angle doesn't go far enough when in hanging orientation. 90 degrees straight out is the best you can do. So, if your speakers have mounting holes on the top and bottom, you're totally out of luck. This mounting bracket is totally unusable.

Great mounts. Wall or ceiling, these will hold. Very versatile. I've used them several times now on both in a home use, as well as in a commercial space. The brackets are good for speakers and for other items that mount and have mounting holes. I've used them to mount WIFI AP's to open warehouse ceilings. As well as security cameras.

The 5" KRK powered speakers don't weigh much and this stand can't handle them. They're very weak when it comes to precise adjustments!

Strong Speaker Brackets
I chose these speaker brackets for their weight capacity (75lbs) and the vertical swivel capability (0 to 90 degrees). These brackets also have a telescopic feature which allows you to adjust the distance from the mounting surface.One drawback with the telescopic design is that the locking bolt does not hold the inner tube tight which allows for significant play and speaker instability which can result in rattling.For my installation, I removed the inner telescopic tube, cut the outer tube to my desired length and had the swivel head welded to the outer tube, then painted the assembly white to better blend in with our decor. They now mount solid and vibration free.
