To Produce Let's DoOrganic Cornstarch we begin with certified organic and GMO-free corn and we chop its kernels into tiny bits. We wash these chopped kernels with a strong, clean water rinse, then spin in a centrifuge to separate out the starch. After filtering and drying thoroughly, we have a pure organic cornstarch powder perfect for your baking needs. Since Let's DoOrganic Cornstarch has twice the thickening power of flour, when a recipe calls for flour you may use half as much organic cornstarch to thicken the recipe. Just remember that one tablespoon of cornstarch equals two tablespoons flour. Hint: Cornstarch will clump when mixed directly into hot liquids. We recommend you dissolve organic cornstarch in a little cold water before adding it to any hot dish and then you may heat as desired. Enjoy!

I love this product! It is useful for baking and adding to water to help get the nasties off of my fruit and veggies! The package gives you enough to last quite awhile. So well worth the price! Of course being organic puts this particular product over the top!!!

I love this brand! Unfortunately, Wholefoods no longer sells any organic cornstarch. For me who shops exclusively organic groceries, finding an organic cornstarch which is free from any pesticides is important! What I really like about this product is that there are never any lumps when I mix it with cold water, cold milk, etc. The key to having it lumpless is to use a whisk when combining it with any cold liqucid. I love it for thickening my homemade terriyaki sauce, when making homemade condensed cream of mushroom soup or any other homemade soup, gravy or sauce that needs to be a bit thicker. I've tried tapioca starch and I found it wasn't suitable as a thickening agent. The quality of this corn startch I purchased is absolutely superb!
