Quality of the tools and the box it comes in is very high grade has all the components that I need to do repairs on laptop or ps5 or small things. The price was great! Design was compact and simple and functionality of magnet is smart

I have a 10-year old Dell laptop that needed fixing. It started with a hard drive failure. So, I decided to replace the hard drive instead of buying a new laptop. In addition, I needed to replace the keyboard and power button and cable that were giving me problems. This toolkit was perfect for my needs. The laptop, itself has lots of screws that needed to be removed to open up the computer. Also, the keyboard needed to be removed to fully get to the inside of the computer. This toolkit had all that I needed to remove the components of the laptop. Contrary to other reviewers, I found the screw driver bits to be magnetic, which was a big bonus given the small size of the screws and deep recesses to where they attach to the computer. The kit has plenty of driver bits for almost any job. I found that they were quality made and did not strip the screw or the driver head, itself. It also contains some pry tools, suction cups (good for mobile phones), and an anti-static strap that you should use to avoid any electrostatic charges that could wreck your components. All-in-all, this toolkit gave me everything I needed to repair my laptop. Instead of spending $2000 on a new laptop, I purchased a new 1 TB hard drive for $50, a new keyboard for $25, and a new power button and cable for another $25. Add to that the price of this toolkit, and I spent a total of $150 to repair my laptop. It took just an hour or so of my time to install the new hardware and to install a clean version of Windows 10 from a USB drive. Now, my laptop is running like new and should last another 10 years or so. This is a quality repair kit and well-worth the money, even though I did not find the cost to be expensive in the first place.

A very complete set of high quality tools. I'm the "that's a hardware problem" type, but I'm finding it very useful. Just one minor thing I'd change: some manuals and videos kindly tell you the types and sizes of bits. So you're looking for a Torx 8. OK, they're labeled...imprinted on the solid black surface. It may just be my 69-year-old eyes, but I have to get a VERY bright flashlight and adjust it to a very specific angle to have a chance to read it. If iFixit could find some way to make the depressed parts white, that would push it past the last tiny step to perfection.

This is a very complete tool kit with high quality bits that doesn’t get chewed up by tiny screws. The foam bit holder is a plus, it makes removing and storing faster compared to molded plastic bit holder. Comes with anti static strap which is a shame a mat is not included. I bought the mat too that comes with a strap.
