This is a very nice watch – classy and impressive. It is an Armani watch, although the “Emporio Armani” brand was designed as a less expensive line aimed at young adults with less money to spend on luxuries. That said, this looks like a pricey piece.The face is a deep metallic blue, with silver hands and accents. There are no numbers on the dial – just small lines to indicate where the numbers would be. There is a sweep second hand, plus three small dials (for the chronograph/stopwatch function). There’s a little booklet which explains all the ins-and-outs of this watch (in 11 languages), but I have to admit it’s a bit confusing trying to figure out which diagrams and instructions apply to this particular watch (since the booklet refers to multiple models). The watchband is a dark gun-metal mesh with an adjustable buckle clasp (more on that in the next paragraph). The watch comes in a very nice, substantial box packed inside another box – this would make a very impressive gift.That said, this is a large, heavy piece, which may be a bit much for everyday wear. My husband tried it on – he liked the look of it, but he wasn’t fond of how heavy it felt on his wrist. He also wasn’t fond of the clasp, which is buckle-style and difficult to maneuver. This is actually the one real negative with this watch. Unless you like fumbling with a watchband trying to get the buckle clasped, you might find the band frustrating. It’s also difficult to get the band to fit snuggly on the wrist – once the buckle is clasped, the watch feels too loose, and trying to tighten it isn’t easy.Overall, this is a classy watch with an impressive name. The buckle-style band is annoying, and the watch is definitely heavy, but if you like the style and you’re a fan of the Armani brand, this is a good choice.
