I put my nieces graduation commencement video on this drive because it was too big to put on a DVD. It was 5.1 gig. The video was shot at 1080 high definition and ran very smoothly on this drive. These flash drives are about the smallest memory-wise you can find these days. There are times you want to send files to someone, but they're too big to email. These are cheap enough to just give away to people you are sending PDF files, videos, or photos to. They work fine but the swivel cover is too loose and doesn't stay closed when not in use.

These USB flash drives are convenient and reliable for storing and transferring data. The compact design and swivel feature make them easy to carry and store. The 8GB capacity is sufficient for most everyday needs, and the variety of colors is a nice touch. However, the USB 2.0 speed might be a limitation for users who need to transfer large files quickly.

I don't like the LED being lit all the time, so I opened one up and un-soldered the LED. There's no glue or anything holding these sticks together. That spring metal clip pretty much holds the two plastic halves together.After that. it was "dark"... but sometimes the operating system didn't see that it was plugged in. A wiggle or two might show the USB drive...But today things got worse. Perfectly good files (3D stl files) being transferred from one computer to another were seriously corrupted. I switched to an un-modified stick and all was well. I would never suspect the LED is an important part of the circuits but apparently it is.

These flip around covers that are used on these flash drives are useless and might as well be removed. They are very annoying and do little to keep the plug end safe from dirt, dust, water, etc. The drives seem to function properly.
