Although more commonly used as chair leg tips, I am using these to cushion the legs of a sailboat ladder - the part that touches the stern of the boat. Although ladder leg tips don't last a long time due to sun and water exposure, these seem to be holding up better than whatever was on the boat when we got it. We try to remember to remove them during times of non-use so they can be stored out of the weather. That should extend their life quite a bit.

I purchased these feet for my bathtub chair. I was a little disappointed because they were not as heavy-duty as the feet that were originally on the chair, and will probably wear out much more quickly than the original ones did. I think what I should have purchased was feet for crutches or a cane, but, I needed them as quickly as possible because my chair was scraping my tub, so I used them. They're a very tight fit, so a little difficult to get on, but otherwise OK. But, just OK. They look heavier in the picture than they are in person.

These are soft, a good choice for indoor smooth surfaces (like wood or linoleum floors). For outdoor or rough surfaces, you may want something harder.
