If like me you expected quality from Foster Grant, don’t. At a significantly higher price point than most, you might expect quality, don’t. They didn’t last any longer then a five or eight dollar pair. The lenses are held in with a monofilament line similar to fishing line. The plastic frame were the mono attachment point is made was the failure point. The lenses can no longer be held in place, as there is no anchor point.

These are very nice, bought the 2.5 for reading. The words are very clear, I can see small prints that used to be a problem with my other reading glasses. Totally love these and would recommend. They look very smart on me too....

I bought these to be unbreakable and stylish. All drug store glasses break in my pants pocket. The half frame, hinges, and arms are tough and perhaps unbreakable, but the plastic string holding the lenses in can break at the mounting, so beware of that. They include a soft case for the glasses to protect them and I recommend using it. These are excellent reading glasses. I also bought a full frame version.

My favorite readers in terms of look/style. Comfy! A little too delicate, maybe. But overall I like them.Edit: I came back to edit this review. I felt the correct thing to do was remove a star (from 4 down to 3) because with two more pairs purchased, BOTH of them broke within the first week. One of the two pairs broke from the action of adjusting them on my face -- lens popped out. The second pair had one of the hinges fail when the screw fell out.

Two pairs broke in identical place, each with less than 1 month use. One pair replaced by Bolo. I could not load the photo, but the weak point on both was the insertion of the lens cord into the temporal part of the frame. The frame insertion site breaks, and then the lens falls out.

They fit a little tight on the temple but do serve there purpose
Don't last as good as they look...
Seemed ok until they broken after five days. I buy lots of these cheaper type reading glasses and these are one of the more expensive of the 'cheap' type but the shortest lasting, for me at least. They looked good til they broke, though.

Not good quality
Initially thought these were nice. No distortion, light and comfortable. After a very short time and little use, the arms have snapped off both pairs! Avoid!!!
