I love this cotton rope. I've been shredding cotton balls trying to give a snowy appearance to dioramas I make for Christmas gifts and it's tedious and results vary. This cotton is very soft, very useable and can be torn into the tiniest delicate strips without turning to fluff like cotton balls. I definitely recommend for all crafters.

If you've been looking for the right cotton to soak off gel manicures, (the cotton the nail tech uses that they just rip pieces off and dip it, and it somehow works so much better than any other form of cotton, or soak off pad) this is it! There's so much of it, and it is perfect. It doesn't leave fluffies behind like torn up cotton balls do, and it holds the acetone so much longer than the "no fluf" pads they sell for soak off that don't stay wet long enough to do the job right.I tear or cut off the pieces that I will need for all of my fingers prior to adding the clips, and the whole process is easier than the rough thin pads too, no pouring each time involved, just pour acetone in a shot glass, dip, squeeze, and clip. I have never had to run multiple soak offs with this cotton unlike the dinky pads, because it stays wet and holds the acetone the whole time rather than evaporating off and being dried out by the time it should've been done.If you have any concern this isn't the right cotton you're looking for, crisis averted it absolutely is!
