This is a beautiful velvety soft blanket. Not too heavy but nice and warm and cozy. I washed it for the first time and it came out beautiful. Very well made and sewn nicely on the seams. Definitely would buy this blanket again. Comes in beautiful colors too!!

more! It’s incredibly soft and warm, perfect for cozy nights on the couch or in bed. But what I love most is the generous size. It’s large enough for me and my husband to share without fighting over it or waking each other up when we move. That alone makes it worth every penny!The fabric feels plush and high-quality, but not too heavy. It gives just the right amount of warmth without overheating. It’s also very easy to wash — I’ve cleaned it several times already and it still looks and feels like new. No pilling, no shrinking.Bonus point: our cat has claimed a corner of the blanket as her new favorite spot — she curls up on it all the time, and that’s saying a lot because she’s picky with textures!Whether for movie nights, afternoon naps, or adding an extra layer to your bed, this blanket is a total win. If you’re looking for comfort, space, and quality — this is it.

I love this blanket. It’s super soft and warm, but not one of those overly warm blankets that make you sweat instantly. It’s the perfect fall blanket to layer with sheets or in the winter to layer with sheets and a thin blanket/quilt. I use it in the spring too, it’s very versatile. It washes very well- I’ve had it for several years and it’s held up extremely well and just as soft as when I first got it. The sizing is accurate, but you could always size up if you wanted more of an oversized hang over the edge of the bed type look. I ordered the king for my king mattress and it still has room for me to tuck the edges in between my mattress and platform. I don’t recall any weird smells coming from the fabric when I first opened the package. The purple color is beautiful- it’s a dark plum shade and very vibrant.

This queen size tan blanket is lovely, soft, lightweight but warm . The color is spot on .I washed and dried the blanket before using.There was very little lint. I checked the sewn edges and they were all well sewn.I’d definitely recommend this blanket.I’ll eventually get the throw .

Update: I reached out to BareHomes customer service and they sent me a replacement blanket and though it’s still less thick than the blankets used to be, the replacement did NOT pill and did NOT shed after washing and drying. They have fantastic customer service. The blanket is so super soft and I’m really looking forward to using it all winter!!!Original review: I’ve been buying these blankets for over 14 years. I bought my BH fleece blanket at Target and have bought multiple over the years because they are my FAVORITE blanket for winter: cozy, warm without being hot, soft. Like a big in a rug!The last BH fleece blanket we owned got a funk smell to it. Like the fabric decided to just deteriorate and start reeking in the closet. We washed it w oxyclean odor remover but that really ruined it w its overpowering smell.I come on here and I’m surprised the price hasn’t changed. I pull up my Target receipt from May 2023 and how the heck is it the same price? We all know the price of EVERYTHING has gone up. Literally, everything. Now I’m sus, and of course it’s just a cheaped out lesser fleece they’re using now.So this blanket is using a fleece with half the thickness it used to have. It’s too lightweight, as I should NOT have to double up a fleece blanket for it to work. In addition, it sheds like CRAZY!

Perfect weight for warmth and very soft. The color is just as shown and I love the pattern as an added touch. I washed it before using it and it came out perfect, no excessive shedding of the fabric. It fits my full size bed really well.

Thickness, might a little thin, for myself it will be just fine. It's nice and soft, wash and dried on low heat, not much shedding in dryer, thats good. I will be using the blanket first week in November @ a State Park Cabin In Washington.

The blanket is soft and decent quality. It has some loose plushies when you open it but that all went away after the wash.I bought this one to get over another similar blanket on my bed. I like that the blanket is soft and light, its still warm. Its a single layer, thin but comfy. Makes it easy to fold if not used. Good to keep near the couch or computer chair :)Size I got is a twin. Love it :)

Super Soft, comfortable and yet still pretty light!
Color Accuracy & Vibrancy 5/5The plum color is perfect! Really a deep shade of purple, which looks amazing in very bright light. In darker light rooms the purple won't come out as much, but it still looks great.Having Marine Blue, Light Blue or hot Pink pillows or smaller throw blanket sitting on top of this looks really great!Comfort & Softness 5/5If you are tired and lay down on this thing. Be prepared to engage in an unwilling nap!Washing & Maintenance 5/5Super easy to wash, some heavier blankets might give your washing machine a bit of a challenge (As they get super heavy when wet) but this one is totally manageable!Durability 4/5If you have pets that like to kneed, might want to keep them away from this blanket though. My cat did kneed a little bit when she discovered the knew sofa blanket. And she managed to nick a strand of the weave. But it still is holding it's ground! But I keep a smaller blanket that I throw on the sofa when she comes purring around the corner. The blanket looks so good I want to keep it that way!ConclusionFor the price it seems like a really great deal. If I ever want to switch up the blanket for my bed I might just consider these blankets!PS: I'll edit this review a few months down the line to see if durability, and color kept up.
