I wasn’t sure if my dog would tolerate a brush in the bath, but she actually loved the gentle massage it gave her. It’s soft and flexible, but firm enough to really work the shampoo into her coat, especially around her neck and back where she tends to shed the most.It fits comfortably in my hand with the easy-grip handle, even when wet, and makes it easier to get a deep clean without tiring out my fingers. I’ve used it on both a short-haired dog and a longer-coated Doodle mix, and it worked great on both. The bristles glide through without pulling, and it definitely helps loosen dirt and hair while spreading the shampoo evenly.The material rinses off easily after use, and it dries quickly—no funky smells or buildup so far. My roommate's dog needed a bath, and I wanted to make her experience as pleasant as possible, and this brush made it happen. She felt great and was open to getting a "massage' as I was washing out the dirt and brushing her hair down. This is a keeper for future washes!

Have a small-medium dog about 20lb with short fur. Works for wet and dry coats. Easy to wash out with water and my thumbs. Worth it.Only thing I would change is maybe a smaller sized pad for smaller dogs.

my dog will not have any other brush. She is the kindest soul but if you take a wire brush to her, she will try to bite you or it.this is the only comb she will let me us because its a calming experience that feels more like pets.

This works amazingly well for my dog’s short hair and the dog actually loves it. When I stop, she paws at my hand to keep going. I just show it to her and she runs over to get brushed. Never would have believed it. It really pulls the loose hairs out well. I haven’t used it for bathing yet but as good as it works dry brushing, I am sure it will really help while wet.

This brush is fine for basic use. It works well enough during bath time and helps lather shampoo into my dog’s coat, but there’s nothing particularly special about it. Rather light and easy to hold. The bristles are not too firm, which is good for sensitive skin, but I didn’t notice any big difference compared to other similar products. Overall, it’s okay for the price if you just need something simple, but don’t expect anything amazing.

Let me begin by saying Major, my rescue Doberman Pinscher, hates the water. He refuses to go out in the rain, avoids stepping in puddles, steers clear of the sprinkler, and even avoids going into the master bathroom. We have not taken him to the lake, but I can imagine that it would be much the same. Baths have been few, very few actually (with the exception of Huggie’s baths which he loves). So when it is time for an actual real bath using actual real water the adventure needs to be efficient, fast, and thorough or everyone will be soaked and no one will be any cleaner. This little bath brush addresses and aids in all of the required bath parameters. As an added benefit it does help somewhat to calm him since he likes to be brushed with the rubber bristled hand grooming gloves. The Brodhi bath brush gently gets into the hair and with brushing helps to release the hair, softly washes the skin, and massages the muscles at the same time. The rubber bristles do not pull the hair or irritate the skin as sharper metal bristles might do. The hair comes out of the brush easily and does not fly everywhere. The entire brush is made of a flexible rubber, and the little rounded, nubby teeth are very soft but effective. The hand slips easily into the strap on the back enabling one to brush with one hand and hold the dog (if needed) with the other. This little bath brush is sturdy, well made, pliable and easily stored. As an added bonus, they come in 11 colors, pack without fuss or muss, and are easily cleaned. This Brodhi hand bath brush does not make bath time a walk in the park, but it does help to increase the efficiency thereby decreasing the time needed for the bath…to the relief of pup and peeps alike! I can recommend this simple little tool without reservation.Top 3 Likes:-Well made and easy to use and clean-Soft, pliable, and gentle on the skin while being efficient-Comes in 11 colors!Top 3 Dislikes:-Anticipate the hand slipping out of the strap-Large hands may find the strap small-Depending on the length and amount of hair, cleaning may require some effort

The regular brushes scared my puppy but this soft massaging brush made her completely submissive. It was pretty good for her first bath too. I believed it helped her not be terrified of getting a bath.

I have two dogs, one with shirt hair and one with medium hair and this works on both of them. I like how it can be used wet or dry, so I usually brush them dry first and then in the bath I use it with conditioner for about 5 min to get out any extra undercoat. Has helped with excess shedding a lot!
