Wolf’s Head Red Grease is a premium, multipurpose automotive/truck chassis and bearing lithium complex grease. Applicable in a variety of automotive and industrial uses requiring extreme pressure protection, oxidation, inhibition, water resistance, and anti-rust properties, including disc brakes, wheel bearings, chassis, ball-joints, 5th wheels and others. It possesses excellent water-resistant properties, corrosion resistant and rust preventative properties. This grease is designed to stay-in-place and lubricate under the most severe operating conditions found in industrial and automotive service. It offers outstanding extreme pressure and anti-weld protection making it ideal choice for off- high-way heavy and construction equipment. Qualified under the NLGI GC-LB classification, Wolf’s Head Red Grease is recommended for use in high-temperature, humidity, and water contamination applications such as mining, marine, and construction. This grease is capable of operations from minus 10 degrees F to 375 degrees F, but with a dropping point of more than 500 F.

We have ordered these grease cartridges 2 or 3 times in the past. They work great and fit standard sized grease guns (we use our in our auto powered gun). We will order again in the future when the need arises.

The old version had the regular packaging around the tube- shrink wrap around one end, and a metal pull tab on the other. I had several of these get destroyed when the plastic box I had them stored in, in the bed of my truck, failed when it got hit with rain. Well, the new way they package each individual tube is rain proof! It's like this- the whole tube is shrink-wrapped, and the metal pull tab end has been replaced with a full-plastic end and pull tab! I hated it when I looked at it, until the first time I loaded the elec grease gun, and I will not go back. I hope all other manufacturers catch on to this, and it becomes common. Easier to use than metal/cardboard, and SAVES your grease tubes when they get hit with water including rain/snow! Buy this!!!

Not bad at all. It’ll work for what I need it for. I wouldn’t put it in heavy equipment though. Good for wheels, lawn mowers, small tractors etc.

I went back to using the Wolf's Head grease due to the inability to obtain Shell Gaddus grease at a reasonable cost and a reasonable delivery time. I used Wolf's Head for several years before switching to the Shell product.No complaints.
