I love Caribou! This Lakeshore blend is delish. My son and I tried 5 different Caribou blends before settling on this being the ideal roast for us. Not too dark roast, not too light. It's a wonderful medium roast that is super tasty. It's versatile to make as strong as you want. my son and I use the same measurement of grounds but he uses less water to give it a stronger brew. This multipack was a great price as well.

Its smooth and although light that means it was cooked less time than dark. So the flavor is there. Price is great. I am going organic everything and mold tested coffee as well due to allergies and severe skin issues. Otherwise I would have kept ordering this.

I used to think I liked dark roast. As it turns out, I just like strong coffee, a very different experience. This Light roast, made strong, is a delightful combination of great coffee taste without the burnt bean acrid assault to your tongue that dark roast usually gives you. Try light roast. It's way better. And Caribou Daybreak is my favorite of that breed. It just tastes better. Added bonus: light roasts have more caffeine than dark roasts.Are you a dark roast snob like I used to be? Try this, and make it strong. You will definitely not go back to dark.

I bought a few light roasts on Bolo to get a bit of a sample of what's on here for taste testing. I've been drinking and nerding out about coffee for about ten years now and even briefly worked at a local cafe, but I don't tend to order my coffee grounds on Bolo so I tried a few on here.Caribou arrived in a huge bag, 20oz really looks much bigger in ground form, and for the price you get a lot of coffee. My first impression was that it smelled fairly different from most light roasts, being fairly smoky and aromatic for the category, which is not a bad thing, but a bit unusual. It's a bit darker than I would associate a light roast with be, I would maybe call this a lighter medium than a light roast, I could see that really hitting with someone as the mix of a lighter flavor profile that lets through some more subtle notes with the smokiness being a really unique tasting experience. This is definitely someone's favorite coffee.It tastes as it smells. It's darker than you'd expect in a light roast and is fairly smoke-heavy in flavor but it's nowhere near unpleasant and it's actually quite nice with a bit of cream. There are a lot of blonde roasts that are exceptionally weak that can't stand up to adding anything in, but this has a pretty sturdy flavor profile that would stand up to syrups or creamers. I could definitely see this being like the only coffee someone's dad will drink because it's pretty interesting but not unapproachable.I received coffee that was not terribly fresh. I ordered this and two other ground coffee bags on the same day, and both of those had best buy dates in may and june of next year respectively, but this one had a best buy date of january 1st while being received on october 19th. I imagine that means it's been sitting in a warehouse for quite a while, which is no one's fault really, but it did result in it being a weaker cup of coffee than I would have liked. I would have really liked to have tried this unique flavor profile if it was a newer bag. I may order again to see if I can get a newer bag.I would recommend this if you like light roasts and want something a bit off-beat that's still really. I did really enjoy this and will finish the bag, but it wasn't my favorite I've ever had and receiving a bag that's clearly been around a while was a bit disappointing.

This coffee is delicious, it's very very good. I am super picky about my coffee but this is a great medium roast with a great flavor, it's a darker medium roast but it smells delicious before and after being brewed. I only have two complaints, I use it for my French press and the ground version is literally like powder sugar. It's sooooo finely ground and I hate that. It clogs up the screen on the French press, but they do have a whole bean option. Which brings me to the second thing I dislike is the price, it has gone through the roof. 40$ for a 32oz bag of whole bean is insane. and 14$ for a 20 oz ground is almost Starbucks prices which I left because of the price. I wish they could find a good happy medium of like 9$ for the 20 oz and maybe 21-22 for the 40 oz. Being more expensive than starbucks is crazy. Their 18 oz of italian roast is 10.99..

No other coffee compares to Caribou Medium Roast. This is from experience, trying other brands, restaurant, coffee houses, specialty blends. No need to brew any other. No bitterness. No harshness. Pure good coffee taste. The perfect sunrise cup of high quality, pleasantly aromatic "good morning to you" coffee you love to wrap your hands around and give it a big hug.

Tim Horton's became too expensive and unavailable. It was our favorite and we just couldn't justify it so we tried this. My husband says it's just as good, but it's definitely different. It's normal strength, as acidic as any coffee. Tastes great, smells great. But definitely cheaper than TH.
