I bought the 2 gallon size jar to hold my kamut flour. Not only does it look cute and rustic, but it’s functional. It keeps my flour fresh, and it’s really easy to use a measuring cup since the mouth is so wide. The glass is heavy duty and doesn’t chip easily and these jars holds a ton. I love the labels that came with it and it comes with chalk too! I’ve had one of these for over a year and came back for another because I love them so much!

Love these! They’re very big and I saw a lot of other reviews saying there were cracks during shipping. Mine came perfect! The lid does not have an airtight seal but honestly I kind of like the clinking sound it makes when the glass lid goes on!

I got 2 gal sized jars. I love that it’s so big. As you can see it will hold my pods in a very stylish way! I have the other one in my pantry holding my homemade pancake mix. I love these because when I’m scooping flour out of them unlike square containers, I can get my scoop inside and not have corners to deal with. However, they don’t have a gasket that seals the lid. I knew that reading other reviews, but they still work for what I need. I’m a happy customer. Great purchase!!

The lids do not come with a washer/seal. That being said we like the jars enough to use a food safe aquarium sealant for creating an airtight seal. We applied the sealant to the lids and let them dry thoroughly before using them.A customer asked if anyone had found seals for these jars. Here’s how I responded. Aquarium seal, caulking tool, patience and ingenuity.I measured the lids with a machinist tool and oredered seals from two companies…. ☹️ (not Bolo and they were expensive) after two attempts to purchase the perfect seal… all of them were just a hair or so off because the lids and jars at imperfect…. I decided to use a bead of aquarium seal I purchased at Low_s. I applied a bead of sealer on the lid…. It was easier to use a razor to trim what turned out to be minimum excess sealant off the lids. I was able to create what seams to be an airtight seal and use the jars for my specialty flours. What you need to know: be patient, be prepared to try it a couple of times. I will add photos at a later date to my current review. You can do it.

Exactly what I expected…
These are the largest size containers. I am using one for Dish Detergent Pods kept under the sink and the other for Brown Rice. The opening is large enough to scoop out the rice. The lid does not have a rubber seal, which I prefer for food that is consumed quickly…you don’t have to worry about it going off or stale.

the lid arrived with a big chip out of it.no suction on lids to keep food fresh.dissapointed that the lid is just laid on top. wont keep anything fresh.postage very expensive to get them.i would give them a 5 star rating if the lid screwed on or had a suction lid on it.or even a rubber band to screw it on.but i love the size of the jars.
