I did this piece for my mom. She loves it. However, I was disappointed when working it, discovering the areas around the jar were not blue, but gray. Overall, it is a very pretty piece.

The design looks like some flower you might have picked from a garden. There is some back stitching but I might add some more. It’s 14 ct. Aida. The fabric is not real stiff so you can have an easier time of wrapping your fabric around a hoop. Worth the money.

I have been cross stitching for many years. This is a beautiful pattern, however, I will caution that this is an extremely detailed pattern. Also the pattern is in black and white and the symbols/charts are a little smaller than I am use to. Due to this is a very detailed pattern, and in black and white and can be very easy to lose your place. You really need to take your time with it. Also, this is a kit. I did search to see if I could buy this as just a pattern and I could not. I don't like kits and this kit confirmed my thoughts on kits. I use my own DMC floss instead of the floss in the kit. Also, the way they have their floss organized, it is hard to tell what is what and I do not believe they used a good quality floss. Also, I am using the fabric provided and I don't like it. I think it is rather cheap and I wish I would have purchased a fabric that I know and trust. I am about half way done with this and I will admit the color schemes are beautiful, but I am most likely going to set this aside and work another project to give myself a break and then come back to it. Like I said, this is a very detailed pattern and is not for beginners.
