I have an older 8250XL that is working fine, however, the original HQ9/52 blades haven’t been made by Philips Norelco for a number of years. These SH50 blades fit in the 8250XL and work! Since they are only a single blade versus the double blade in the HQ9’s, it takes a little longer to shave, and that’s OK. These blades save me the nuisance of going down the rabbit hole of new electric shavers.

This is an upgraded design from the original set of lift and cut inserts and they cut more smoothly than the previous design. I was sceptical at first about ordering them but I didn't need to get a new razor so I did. They work great! I'm purposely not identifying the model because these fit a few models and it's best if you check the information available to see if the upgraded inserts fit your model.

These are the same dual pattern cutters as my 13yo originals, cut a little better without biting. Hope they last as long.

I thought I'd save a couple bucks and buy a generic replacement head instead of these, and it was a huge mistake. These official heads are so much more comfortable and effective.

For many years I used a three-blade razor. I felt like I could get a smoother shave. It just seemed like, on an electric razor, no matter how thin the metal casings were that covered the tiny little blades there would still be that space between the skin and the blade. As I've gotten older I'm getting tired of shaving and wondered if an electric razor might be adequate. So, I bought a Norelco Shaver 5000. It works great and I can get almost as close a shave as with a three-blade razor. It has been close enough that it doesn't bother me. The other thing I worried about was cleaning the Norelco blades. It takes a little bit longer to clean the three circular casings and blades, but not that much longer and it's easy to do.

This is a real OEM replacement head. I have purchased cheaper knock-offs in the past. Even those pirating the Norelco name. Now I only pay the extra money and buy this from the same seller. You get what you pay for and it lasts a lot longer than the fakes.

WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Last year I purchased replacement heads that looked like they were "Genuine"... but were NOT. Even the packaging was convincing- at least, to me! But... I had a terrible year of shaving. This year, I thought I'd pay a bit more (still a great price on Bolo) and buy the Genuine product, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Totally smooth, close, comfortable shave. Period. This is a no-brainer!

Comprei o produto sem saber se iria atender minha expectativa comparando com o produto original, assim que chegou eu já testei e comprovei que ele é tão bom quanto a lâmina que veio no barbeador original, o que veio no original durou 4 anos, se esse durar 2 anos está ótimo, comprei porque eu não lembrava que ao fazer a barba com presto-barta meu rosto ficava com bolinhas vermelhas da lâmina, e com o barbeador elétrico isso não acontece.Recomendo o produto, já estou usando há 2 meses.

The blades have the same angle and shape, the mounting plastic piece however is much shorter but that doesn't affect the function.
