Luckily it's the first brand I ever tried, and the quality is reflected in the price. I eyeballed the preformed little discs on Bolo, and a few of the other regular resin in small jars, but this one seems to have the best reviews. Word to the wise (for the boldly impatient ones hahaha) don't waste your time dissolving this in water. Get a serving, eat it off the utensil-of-choice (I like knives because the flat shape makes it easier to get most off), and allow the little wad of goodness dissolve in your stomach. Anything left on the knife I just consume like a lollypop. Is it a little bit bitter and unusual tasting? Sure. But so are most supplements. I guess it helps that I enjoy chewing tobacco with stout flavors (Swedish General Snus that's you <3) so to me the flavor of the shilajit resin isn't too bad.And again, word to the wise: even though you may eat it off of a utensil, putting water in your stomach may help it 1)dissolve and 2)mitigate some potential stomach upset. Again, the idea is to circumvent the timely process of swirling it around a glass. We're not here to omit ingredients, just move the swirling process elsewhere. don't forget your water ;)

Another update: I introduced this to my godson he purchased a bottle he says it's incredible and he loves how it makes him feel.... I will see if he has time to write a review... I introduced this to my Goddaughter and another Godson.... they purchased two.... they introduced it to their family and yes all of them love this shiliajit. There is one other brand I like as much and yet there is a distinct difference with the two. I couldn't tell you which one I like more for they react differently and pleasantly. This one I get 65 grams more for five to ten dollars less. Nothing wrong with that....However, even with the price and quantity difference I don't care I like them both and I will continue using both.Update:I've tried a more expressive one here on Bolo and I did like it however it is not as effective as this one. I have one more (other brand) coming May fifth....I'll update this a week later. I still feel this shilajit is outstanding. I also, bought six more of these cute little containers because I want to make sure I don't run out for a long time.I haven't tried any other brand but this one....i had never heard of shilajit until a friend from Seattle said "you gotta try this stuff" so I got on Bolo and looked at every kind/brand they sold ... I I went with this one....I first put it into a morning smoothie....quite an interesting taste... however I wasn't that keen on it.... I tried it in warm water.... no thank you.... then I got one of my gelatin capsules and with a small stainless steel knitting needle I gooped up some with the needle ... put it into the capsule and with my smoothie swallowed it.... I love love love how it makes me feel.... I don't just have more energy my brain feels just a bit more alive, alert, focused, and at the same time calm.... I have an ADD brain and I usually drink very very strong coffee in the morning and late at night (yes to calm my brain down for the day or to go to sleep at night) but after 43 years my stomach just wasn't happy with the coffee anymore...i have been struggling with my brain trying meditation and numerous other things this last year.... I'm glad I did because I do enjoy learning all about meditation but I needed help and this shilajit is just plain wonderful.... I'm so glad I got it...it helps and maybe in the next few years I'll get better at this meditation stuff however in the meantime my brain gets its coffee fix without the coffee.

This is a good product if other antidepressants anti anxiety prescriptions don’t work for you or if you prefer to use a natural product like this. It’s pretty strong and I could feel the effects get stronger each day the four days I took it. It does taste like tar and it has the consistency of tar; but the results outweigh the negative taste. I had to stop taking it because the effects were too strong for me at half the recommended dose; as strong as a prescription antidepressant I have taken in the past and could not tolerate. The company recommended another type of Shilajit they offer that I’m going to try and despite the taste I’m hoping it will be a winner.The Shilajit, Mongolian is definitely a winner. Again I just take half the recommended dose and it works wonderfully. My anxiety is lowered shortly after ingesting it and my neck and shoulder pain, due to stress, disappears. I totally recommend it and this company. A+

Wow, this is a really good And cost effective alternative for Pure Black. I had my doubts but I’m pretty happy with this brand.IMO Pure Black does give me 30% more Energy using a smaller dose but I just can’t See myself spending nearly $100 for 1/3 of the product that I get with Pure Shilajit. If PS gets me 70% where I need to be then I’m good with that.As With all Good shilajit, if you are sensitive, DO NOT TAKE AT NIGHT. You’ll be Calmly up All night. Also, the taste is quite terrible - take a small spoon full of honey before and after to help with the taste.
