Unique and effective where others aren't
I've had bowel issues since the day I was born. Years ago my gastroenterologist told me to stop taking the other kinds of probiotics I'd been using (lactobacillus, etc) and take Align instead. As he explained, most probiotic bacteria work to help in the small/upper intestine. The bacteria in Align work in the large/lower intestine.After taking Align daily for a week or so, I noticed decreased pain, and decreased gas. I took them for several years and I guess I got so used to the benefits they were providing that I forgot it was the Align probiotics responsible. During a very stressful and busy six months last year, I forgot to buy more and just stopped taking them. After about three months I noticed increased gas and pain, but forgot about the Align until my gastroenterologist asked me if I was still taking them. Oops!So I got more, and noticed the benefits after about three weeks.Nowadays pain is rare, and I only get gas if I'm sick or having an allergic reaction. Seriously. I know supposedly everyone toots, but unless there's something wrong, I don't. If I do, it's so slight that it's unnoticeable.I now get them through Bolo subscription so I'll never forget again.If you want to take Align for your lower bowel in conjunction with probiotics for your upper bowel, go ahead. There's no harm in it. The different bacterial strains won't cancel each other out and, depending on your issue, will likely have you feeling much better in a couple of months. I strongly recommend that everyone try Align for at least a couple of months. You never know; even if you think you're just fine, you could end up feeling even better.
