Guess what, cheap magnets have no power. They do not perform, they are the size that the listing says they are, have screws if you buy them with screws, last as long as a magnet is supposed to last, and stick to metal easy [if it is the right kind of metal]. What else can I say, size of ad. Durability of a magnet,and as easy to use as a magnet. Maybe if you want a magnet, this is your magnet.

Worked perfectly for closing netting on veranda. With the hole in the middle I was able to stitch them to the binding on the closure. A few had very rough edges however.

Nice, good sized magnets at a great price. Fairly strong hold, not wimpy. If you want or need a stronger hold then just stack them together. 1 magnet can hold a 12"x18" shop towel, an 11" inch screwdriver, or a 10" inch adjustable wrench! 3 stacked magnets can hold a heavy glass storage jar (see photos). I'm finding a lot of uses for these things. I may have to order more.Update March 2019: (original order June 2017) Magnets doing well. No breakage or loss of magnetism I have found so many uses for these that I purchased another set of 50.Update September 2019: My friends and family have " borrowed " so many of these that I had to order a 3rd set of 50. Still finding lots of used for these

I bought these with the hopes that I could better secure my White's Tree Frog's favorite hide. There are magnets encased in plastic inside the hide, and also inside the pegs that attach the hide. The magnets sandwich the glass between them to hold the hide in suspension.White's Tree Frogs are husky. Mine was 34 grams at the last weigh in, but they range from 50 - 90 as adults. These magnets aren't strong enough to pull through the plastic and the glass when The Detective jumps onto the hide. Thankfully, despite most WTFs having but one brain cell, he has figured out that he can't slam into it, or it shifts or falls. I'm still on the look out for a stronger magnet.For the purpose of a makeshift dishwasher clean / dirty indicator . . . I used a name tag that has a metal bar on the back and a plastic pocket. The bar is at the top of the tag, and the tag is of average convention name tag size. That end stays put well. When we turn it to "dirty," which is the side with no metal bar, it slowly makes its way back to "clean." We've had a bit of confusion with that hiccup. That's with only one magnet. I slipped another magnet into the bottom inside the pocket. That anchors it a bit better, but still not Quite perfect because the magnet doesn't get full contact with the door.Given that these come in a pack of 200 million or so (slight exaggeration - I only needed 2, but ya' can't buy "only 2" magnets of this size online), I'm not sure what the heck I'll do with the rest. Perhaps donate them to someplace where kiddos do crafts. Or perhaps I'll use them in my crochet. I'll report back on their strength if I do use them that way. Not sure how strong the hold would be through yarn. I'm on an arthritic flare up resting break, so it won't be any time soon, doggone it. I'll update if I find any other uses for them, and let folks know how well they hold.

Very happy with this. Unable to stick regular magnets on cruise ship door but that’s ok because I knew that so I bought epoxy and these 1 inch magnets and placed on the back of regular magnet signs and worked perfectly. Awesome product!

These magnets are very powerful, but shatter easily as you can see in the attached photo. They seem to be make of a compressed, metal cake-like substance. Unfortunately, some do not have enough cohesiveness to remain whole when they snap into place on metal.November 12, 2023 edit:The folks from X-bet MAGNET contacted me and offered me a full refund. I actually needed the magnets more than the refund, so I asked them to send me a new set if they felt I had somehow gotten a bad batch. They did so. I had the new set of magnets in a few days and I'm very happy with the way they responded and the result.

Good old ceramic magnets.....
Order arrived on time and nicely packaged. These are the good old CERAMIC magnets, and nicely made too, that are not so easy to find these days. As a mechanic, I find these just right for sticking notes, documents, schedules, directions among other things to the lid or sides of my toolbox, or the firewall or under hood of a vehicle while I'm working on it. They are good enough in pairs to hold a couple sheets of paper and I don't have a battle to pick them off when done, unlike the rare earth magnets. Very good product.
