The solution was accepted by my meter, so that is a good start. I really cannot tell if it is accurate because I am testing a device (test strip) that is not always that accurate... The only way to determine how accurate the solution is would be a blood draw followed up by a lab test..... In summary, I guess it is 'close enough'.

When our pharmacy sent my husband his new and different device to measure glucose in the blood levels daily, the only control they sent was level one. This device and the individual testing strips require a three level check every time you open a new vile of strips. At first the pharmacy said Level One was all I needed but each level is for a set numerical situation and Level 2 was the one matching my husband's daily readings. In fact, one should check all three levels to make sure that the strips themselves are corresponding to requirements of the meter. So, we were told pharmacy did not have levels 2 or 3 so we ordered from Bolo. Bolo is a life saver; they always have what we need.

I wanted to test my two Glucose monitors and they use this at the infusion center I work at. This started when my partner was teaching me to test my blood and we used the other monitor first and then I tested using mine and we got two different results. Same brand machine etc. so I ordered level 1, 2, and 3. I have several other friends that are diabetic and we had a Glucose Monitor Party where I put a large drop on glass and we each tested our machines. All the machine came out with a very close number except for my partners. it consistently tested 20-30 points higher which affected the dose being injected. So this was worthwhile money.

Seems to work. Got here quicklyI wonder about them shipping to Minnesota in February when it says "do not freeze" but I got it from mailbox quickly and it seems to work fine
