iOSAT Potassium Iodide is the first "Radiation Protective" agent to be sold directly to the general public. Its active ingredient, 130 mg. of potassium iodide (KI), gives virtually complete protection from the most feared consequence of a nuclear accident - a meltdown and release of radioactive iodine into the environment.

Hoping to never need them
Have them on hand based on our proximity to a nuclear facility. Should have never watched the movie Chernobyl, I guess.Giving them 5 stars and hoping I’m not ever in a position where I need to downgrade my review to 2 stars instead.
Until nuclear winter arrives who knows?
I mean really, who is going to have an actual review of these things if the electrical grid and the Internet is still working? Someone who worked at Fukushima? Whatev, the packaging looks good. They seem legit and provide some peace of mind...as long as you don't think too hard about it...
Perfect for your emergency scenario first aid kit! Best to be prepared than to be sorry.
Delivered quickly and intact. With everything that is going on in our world, I decided to make sure we have these tablets on hand for an emergency scenario. The fact that North Korea has been touting their nuclear capabilities, I would rather be on the safe side with the lives of my family. At this price, very affordable to keep a pack per family member on hand and purchase a few extras just in case. At less than $8 a pack it is money that may be spent on unnecessary indulgences. I'd rather have this to add to the first aid kit and forgo a few unnecessary indulgences.Mine came December of 2017. The expiration date is for the year 2022 on all four of the packets I purchased. Will be purchasing another round of tablets in the future to have on hand just in case something were to happen and we were to have others in the home. These are more important for the children and young adults, but no reason to not buy them for those over the age of 40 despite other claims that have been made by others. I would gladly Hand over tablets that I have extra of for someone else's child to be protected. Best to buy extra for your emergency scenario first aid kit.
A+
Well I can't tell you if they work, I haven't used them I'm saving them for emergency the item last for at least 8 years. Store in a cool dark place
A little peace of mind
Nice compact package for keeping with your WTSHTF supplies. I’ve given them to family as well. 4 stars for peace of mind. Have not used yet. Hope we never find out if they work or not.
Hopefully they will never be needed.
It is hard to wright a review of this as, god willing, i will never need them. Now for my situation, i spend a great deal of time working at a location close to a nuclear plant. in the event of a disaster i feel better knowing that these are on hand. To my knowledge as of writing this only iosat is actually tested and approved by the FDA for quality and effectiveness. If i have to trust my life to something i would rather it have the stamp of approval from the FDA.
Better safe than sorry. W/ expiration being years it works out to be only couple of bucks a yr. per person in home #Rocketman
These are the "read" "nuke pills" or the FDA/FEMA brand (1 of 3). I don't claim to be a prepper, I do not have an aluminum foil hat and am not a conspiracy theorist.. I am however, not an idiot and with the recommendation being 1 pack per person in the household coupled with the expiration date... It comes out to be around $2.50 per person per year, in your house to have a little peace of mind if a worst case scenario becomes real.. Better Safe Than Sorry. Between Rocket man and the fact there is a Nuclear Reactor about 14 miles as the crow flies, it is a low, fair price for a little peace of mind. Radiation is absorbed through the thyroid as a primary route. Potassium Iodide works by "filling up" the thyroid, so radiation is not able to be absorbed through the thyroid. Taken within the frost 60 minuted of a nuclear event, and depending on the amount of radiation exposure it reduces the risk of radiation sickness. These are the full dose pills, so it is one per 24 hours for adults in an emergency.
Be prepared
Added this to my bug out bag. The packaging is secure and instructions for use are clearly visible. Hopefully we will never need to use it.
