I've worn makeup and been a makeup artist..for years. Just as I've looked for the perfect red lipstick, brown lipliner or nude lipstick, I'v also sought the perfect face/setting powder. Black Radiance has been around for years and I've used their lipsticks and blushes. Never occurred to me to use their loose or compact powders since they seemed like so many others I've bought. Then I saw a vide from a favorite influence and was intrigued that although Soft Focus only has 3 shades of powder, they blend with many more complexions. So I took a chance and bought Creamy Bronze. This is now my favorite powder, even for setting. It blends perfectly with my skin and does not look cakey. I apply with a triangular powder puff and apply lightly. A little goes a long way. It makes my face look softer.

Love Black Radiance. They have amazing products and I wanted to try their powders and I wasn't disappointed. I use this with my elf halo glow and it is a great finishing powder to use to make your makeup last. It also helps with where the light hits next to your nose, it really does blur the areas you use it on. Only problem was the shade, I tend to struggle with this as I have an olive undertone but this looked a bit too pink for me, thankfully it is sheer so I can make it work. I have combination skin as well and I can only use this with a good makeup base or it will suck all the oils out of my face and make me look dry. I am combination skin but way more dry in most areas. So this is definitely made for an oily face. I'll probably try their other powders and see if is better for my drier skin.

I've been using this for over a decade, and it's been my favorite all these years. I don't really wear makeup and I have oily skin. This blends in flawlessly with my complexion and helps keep my oiliness at bay. I'm so glad I can still find it, I hope it never gets discontinued. The container last me for a very long time, my only complaint is that the lid becomes less durable over time, and either the hinge breaks or the plastic does. But again, it lasts for so long with regular use so that's not really a con. I've had the one in the pic for almost 2 years

I don't really like the texture of this powder. It's a bit floury and dry. I don't like how it cakes on my skin. I do apply my moisturizer first, then apply the powder. But despite this, it's quite dry. It's a bit better when I apply a little moisturizer on top of it as well, after applying the powder. I'll use it like that until it's used up. But I won't be purchasing again.
