The frog system is great. It takes the work out of hot tub chemistry. I have a 375 gallon hot tub and the chlorine cartridge last abut 2-2.5 weeks at a time. Water stays at about the same 2-3ppm the whole time. Great product if you’re new to hot tubs or a seasoned veteran.

Effective and almost keeps our water perfectly as long as I add a lid full of a booster weekly, monthly a little calcium, and a little PH UP weekly. Even when no one is using it. That basic formula works for me 90% of the time regardless of use. The blue mineral part typically lasts me 4 months, the silver chlorine portion lasts about three weeks even though I keep it set at 1.5.Con'sIt is easily twice to three times more expensive than other systems I can buy at any hardware or pool store but they often require a little more work and adjustments.The FROG system implies it's all you need, but as I mentioned above, I'm always adding more PH Up, booster, and calcium and occasionally some anti-foam, some clarifier (usually once a month), and sometimes alkaline on top of the Up. So even though it's supposed to be a complete system it's not and I'm still adding more money in additional chemicals.We have decided the extra cost is worth it, our water is always great, clean, clear, and ready to go.

I started using the FROG @Ease SmartChlor cartridges to simplify hot tub maintenance, and they've made a noticeable difference. The water stays clear and feels softer, and I don't have to constantly monitor chlorine levels. The cartridge flips over when it's time for a replacement, which is a helpful reminder.While the cartridges aren't the cheapest option, the convenience and consistent water quality make them worthwhile. They typically last around 3-4 weeks, depending on usage. Overall, they've made hot tub care much more manageable
