It's easy to buy a pastry in the morning at a cafe which I can avoid if I have a few of these bars. I never have time to cook anything, so I just grab on of these bars to eat while getting ready for work or at the computer at work. Sad to read this, wish I had time to cook real food like eggs for breakfast.I like the taste of the bars and the variety. I can feel the textures of the real ingredients while eating. They seem more natural than KIND bars and less expensive than other brands. For more variety, I will buy other bars like Mezcla (matcha, hot chocolate) from time to time.There is just something about the right amount of calories and taste that works for me.

LaraBars tend to be sweet, but I like that they use real ingredients. I will eat a portion of it on its own, or sometimes I break it up and sprinkle over yogurt or oatmeal. Nice as a "healthier candy bar" too.Super pricy, but I dont rate on price. We can see the price before ordering, and we all have different budgets, needs, preferences, prices fluctuate, and of course inflation. But yeh, I dont buy these unless they are on sale (closer to the older price).Any that I have eaten from this box have been fresh. No problems, Love the variety.

I really enjoy these bars , but the Coconut Cream Pie bar tastes ‘soapy’ to my husband and I. All the other flavors were fine.

I love having these on hand when I need a snack and there is no fresh fruit or dried fruit around or I need a portable snack. It has no added sugar. The minute exception is trace amounts to the choc chips in one bar, a tiny fraction of the total. While any nutritionist will note this is not a sugar free food, as the fruit sugar content as with all dates, cherries, apples etc. is significant if you are a diabetic and need to control this, it is still a natural and complex sugar, not a simple sugar if you are merely attempting to control weight, ergo less diabetogenic than simple sugar snacks. Worth the cost. It has helped me lose weight and keep it off while satisfying cravings, is the non-science reason for loving Larabars. Healthy whole real food is best for nutrient - dense, high fiber, high satiety snacks for you and the fam. No preservatives also so you may note issues with that - don't store and eat later in humid areas. I prefer risking mold and NOT having mildewcide in my food! Best snack food I've ever eaten for taste and nutrition. I take on long bike rides - can't imagine bike rides without. Other cyclists also see me eating one and look a jealous!
