We make a half a gallon of tea at a time. Three tea bags and 3 of these Necta Sweets and we have the perfect formula for us. A jar lasts a long time but only one store in the area has them. We saved oodles buying these from Bolo. It’s a staple for us so I didn’t mind stocking up.

My husband is diabetic. We drink decaf iced tea with meals and want it to taste sweet. Necta Sweet has disappeared from all our grocery stores (Ingles, Publix, Kroger, and Walmart). I like the ease of dropping in 12 tablets to sweeten the tea in a 2 quart pitcher. Other products are more expensive. Imagine my delight when I found the order of 3 bottles. While higher priced than it was in stores, I now have a supply that will last a long time with no worry I will run out. No need to be experimenting with other sweeteners, which seem more expensive to get the right amount of sweetness. It is easy to use, stores well in small spaces, and gives us the taste we want in our tea.

I find adding 1-2 of these pellets is much more convenient than tearing those small packets with powedered artificial sweeteners. My only issue with these is that as you tumble the bottle often and the pellets rub on each other, you have quite a lot of dust shaven off of them by the tome you are finished with a bottle. If manufacturers are reading this, I woukd suggest them to increase the pressure on their tablet printing press to make these pellets stronger. Theres just saccharine and baki g soda in these pellets, so adding some easy soluble caking agent might help.

I sweeten my tea with saccharin. My mother started using saccharin during WW11 when sugar was rationed. She saved her sugar for making jellies and jams &etc. I will be 90 in December and I still use it for making my tea. They had stopped carrying it in the grocery store where I had been getting it for years. So happy that I found where I could order it.
