Dependaplast: Dependable indeed
So, I have sensitive skin, a probable latex allergy, and something going on where most plaster adhesives just won't stay stuck on me. I also do a lot of work with my hands and outdoors, so I need a plaster that's rugged and has serious staying power. My old favourite was Steroplast Heavy Duty Fabric Plasters, but they changed the adhesive some years ago now, adding latex and ruining its stickiness. I finally came across these, and found they are a great replacement option, comparable to the old Steroplast formula.These are LITERALLY the only plasters on the market that fulfil all my criteria. They're latex free, comfortable and flexible, and they won't budge even if they get a little wet or dirty. They are not waterproof though, take some time to dry out if you get them wet, and eventually will come off for example after washing your hands several times. To remove, it's best to soak them with water until they come fully unstuck, then gently peel off.They're great, the variety pack comes with a good range of sizes (with sensible quantities of each), and they're my new go-to. Wish they were selling the anchor and fingertip shapes too, as I can't seem to find those anywhere, and the convenience of those two shapes cannot be underestimated.Something to note is that a few different types of plaster are shown under one listing here, so do make sure you get the heavy duty ones.
