Easy to use !
Used this to help in fixing some rot around a porch door. Worked like a champ! Cut away the portion that needed to be repaired and fitted some wood pieces to primarily fill the void. Used this wood filler first, against the existing wood that remained, then put in the wood pieces I'd prepared. Secured them in place and then let the filler cure - maybe about 30 min or so. Mixed up another, smaller batch of the wood filler (mixed as directed) and used it to fill in the gaps. Once cured, sanded to a good finish, painted and it all came out pretty good. Not perfect - but that's because I'm not a builder but it certainly worked and helped with this project. I wanted to use this one since it's an exterior door and I wanted it to be weather tight. All good

One of the greatest products out there for wood repairs
I used this almost every day for my furniture projects. It's quality, it's dependable, easy to work with and dries fast. Only thing I wished they do it change the color. I wished there was a wood color, or at least something of a neutral tone. Maybe there is and I haven't looked hard enough? But as long as this product still exists, I'll still be buying it!
Effective wood filler.
Easy to mix and apply. Very fast set, so must apply quickly. Easy to sand to a smooth surface. Mixed color is light green with supplied hardener, so must use an opaque stain or paint. Very effective when used over rotted wood restorer.

Amazing product. Be sure to follow directions.1. It is very easy to mix too much to try and apply before it starts hardening.2. It's also very easy to use too much hardener.You will know very quickly when it activates and starts to harden.Watch some YouTube videos to understand what needs to be done for prep. Filled is some large gaps in baseboard trim repair after removing tile and installing LVP.
Great product
Bondo is the best wood filler for items that will be painted. Keep in mind that this product is a 2-part mix and that its working time is short. It also is very smelly. I used outside so not as big of a deal but still used a half-face respirator. Sands very well. Doesn't shrink.

Mix creme hardener in completely or you will have wasted an amazing product
If you don't mix the creme hardener in thoroughly the product won't get hard.It doesn't take much of it but you must be thorough. When mixed properly this is my favorite go to for filling places with rotted wood that don't need completely replaced. It hardens in under and hour and can be sanded easily and once it's painted it looks no different than if you had replaced the entire piece of wood. I have excluded pics of how I used it to make a repair at the bottom of a section Of my porch. Once I cut out the rotten wood, I used the bondo wood filler to fill in the bottom. I did uses a small piece of wood that was not as thick as the surrounding wood and used the bondo to fill in and smooth out the rest. After sanding and painting, it looks like I replaced the whole piece.Great stuff. Just make sure you mix that creme Hardener in all the way or it stays gummy and you'll have to scrape it off and try again
