I am very satisfied with the breed test results which came in early at about a week. The age test portion takes the full two to three weeks and is pending which I trust will be accurate as I believe the breed test results are very accurate.

I waited forever for them to tell me that my dog was an American Staffordshire Terrier and a boxerβ¦lol They listed several breeds under the American Staffordshire Terrier category and itβs pretty obvious that my doggie is not a terrier. Every vet that has seen him says that he is a Mastiff. I used another company with my other furbaby and her results were very accurate. I chose this company for the genetic age test , which I havenβt received the results for yet. I know approximately how old he is, so we will see what their test comes back as. They really donβt offer much breed specific info and I was expecting them to narrow it down a bit more, that is what I paid for. I guess just a total waste of money. I wouldnβt recommend.

DNA My Dog test was fast and reliable. I received the results of my puppy in a timely mannerwith the percentage of the breeds they found in her. The staff communicated very well with me through emails. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to know what breed their dog was.

I emailed the company after a week to let them know I hadn't received an email that they received my dogs sample. I asked if that was normal and I provided the date of when I mailed the sample. Customer service was prompt in saying that was normal. Two weeks from the date I sent it, they received my dogs sample. Two weeks later I emailed asking if there was any progress. At this point, I was told it takes 2 to 3 weeks from the date of receipt. At three weeks I emailed and was told the sample was in it's final stages however, to allow 1 to 2 weeks for the age test portion. At 4 weeks 1 day I was told my sample was contaminated or insufficient.Buyer Beware. I'm starting to think the other bad reviews are correct. This company had nothing other than my dogs weight, no picture or age so they couldn't do anything with it.

I sent this in the day I got it, and it has been a month with no results. The website looks good, and it was easy to register the test. The website states that they are "connecting the dots," so I'm assuming they received the sample. They also say that it takes 2-3 weeks to process the results, so if I can get those results, I may amend my review. I wanted to get a genetic age for our rescued pooch before his yearly checkup this week, but it's been a month and I'm still empty handed.

I'm happy with the DNA results but I have not received any of the other results that I have paid for if I receive the age and temperament ect I will change my review it starts with my dog's DNA results 47% great Pyrenees 38% siberian husky 17% alaskan malamute
Perfect Test
The test was simple and easy to use - the customer service at DNAmydog was quick to answer my questions - The test came back and with a printable copy of her results that I can keep for her vet follow-ups as she was a rescue and I had no clue of what she actually was. Would definitely recommend this DNA test to others

DO NOT BUY - Tested twice 2 years + apart w/DNA my dogI tested my dog as a puppy, and then decided to do an upgraded test and allergy test for fun a couple years later. At first I thought it would be funny if they gave me a different result - turns out it wasn't funny. After some back and forth, their customer service? person Angie resorted to gas lighting and condescension, ending with suggesting I see my vet - which makes no sense. If you are doing the test, make sure it's just for fun, as the information is not reliable and this is just a gimmick. First test seemed accurate and fit with my dogs looks/behavior. 4 breeds given - and I had included a picture of my dog. The new test gave only 2 breeds, and I did NOT include a picture this time, to see if there was any influence on the results the first time... I guess there was! Her allergy testing was wrong as well - I knew of one allergy for sure, but the test came back that she had no sensitivities to it. When I queried about the different results, they said the first test must have been wrong/contaminated and that I should see my vet if I am unsatisfied with their results.
Quick result that surprised us.
First is that the result was prompt as promised. We had no idea about the background of our rescue dog who is now 16 months old. She is clearly a mixed breed and the results of the test were a bit surprising. She is a mix of 4 breeds and upon further research we see how the DNA results occurred. It's good knowledge because we can now tailor our food and exercise regime.

Fair price, results not so much
Our dogs DNA came back and we suspect the wrong analysis was given to us.We have a hound rescue (results came in as mountain dog and sharpei.Wich she does not look like at all.
