A little bit on a brush goes a long way. It is smooth and smells great. I follow up with their aftershave cream and my wife always says I smell good.

Bought this on a whim because I like other Hawkins and Brimble products. This cream makes a good lather all you need is an almond sized amount in the shave bowl and a little bit of water and it makes more than enough lather for a three pass shave. This is also the first non menthol forward shave cream that made my face tingle. I will buy more when this is used up.

A bit of the cream goes a long way. You need a good shaving brush to work up a lather. Ginseng and Elemis is a subtle, non-intrusive, yet masculine aroma. My wife loves the smell.

This product is simply the best shave cream I have ever found in 45 years of shaving my beard. Shaving my face is like shaving a bear - this product lets me shave close and comfortable every time. You will not be disappointed.

Soft, will get consumed quickly like Taylor of Old Bond Steet, does not represent good value, but neither does TOBS. Pre De Provence offers trippled milled shave soap that smells better than either and lasts a whole lot, lot longer than both H&B & TOBS combined. Shave soaps take a little practice, but offer much greater value. I quite like the Pre De Provence # 63 scent, use it most days, and my wife really likes the scent as well.

So this is my first time trying Hawkins and Brimble shaving products.I have found this to be an excellent shaving cream. It has a lovely consistency to it, lathers up without any effort at all and has such a pleasant, fresh aroma.It leaves the skin feeling smooth and refreshed.It causes no irritation and is perfect for those who have sensitive skin.An excellent addition to any gentleman’s morning shaving routine.I could not have been happier with this purchase, I was genuinely impressed with how much I liked this shaving cream. At first glance, the tin looks moderately sized, but you literally only need a fingertip sized amount to generate an extremely generous amount of lather.Definitely 5 stars from me :-)
