Excellent product. Great price, especially with the Subscribe-and-Save discount.Magnesium citrate is easily absorbed, which is helpful. But whichever chemical structure you choose, it’s the amount of magnesium that matters. Some other brands provide 400 mg of magnesium citrate compound, which delivers just over 50 mg of ionic magnesium. So they have you take two or three pills for a daily dose that still amounts to less than half your recommended intake of magnesium.NaturaLife delivers 2,500 mg of magnesium citrate to give you a full 400 mg of ionic magnesium in a single pill. This is an excellent product. One major issue is with people misunderstanding how Magnesium compounds are done and the showing of amounts. For starters, magnesium is mixed with another ingredient to make it a salt compound. Magnesium is very close to 16% elemental metal, and so when you see big pills, or having to take 2 pills, its because in order to get 400 mg, you have to have approx. 6x more than that to get a full dose. Such as magnesium citrate. This is 16% magnesium (elemental) and the rest is NOT filler, but rather citrate. This is formed by mixing magnesium and citric acid. It's a salt compound. And what makes this issue all the harder is what to look for from sellers, who purposely try to mislead people. They'll show 400 mg as magnesium citrate, making it look like you're getting 400 mg of magnesium. Not so, only 16% is elemental magnesium. You have to look for Magnesium alone, and preferably with (Elemental) on same line. This is why it takes close to 2500 mg to get what we need for the RDA, when you factor 16% of compound is actual elemental magnesium. Another example might be: listing showed as 500 mg Magnesium Citrate, and nothing about elemental. So this is not 500 mg of magnesium, but close to 85 mg. This is also why its consistantly (2 pills), or somewhere near 2400 - 2600 mg for the total dosage if the company is aiming for a full day supply of magnesium @ 400mg.

400 mg a day of Mg is recommended for chronic migraine. I chose this product because it's the only one I found where it only takes 2 pills to make up the 400 mg. It works extremely well for migraine. I started taking topiramate and Mg and together they kept migraine attacks at bay. I went from daily attacks to the point that I couldn't leave my bedroom due to light and sound sensitivity, to zero attacks. When I ran out of Mg, the attacks returned. I thought the topiramate stopped working, but since it correlated with the stoppage of Mg, I ordered another bottle and started taking it again. Within about a week, the attacks subsided and now I'm back to zero attacks! I hope other migraine suffers read this and benefit from it. It really helps. I'm not exaggerating. Actually, I'm surprised a mineral helps like this. I never right reviews for anything. I really hope that other migraineurs read this.

hello ,I tend to use magnesium citrate as a mild helper for the potty since I take some medicine that can cause me to get a bit stuck .. I dont like powerful laxatives adding magnesium citrate can help you be more naturally regular.I tried the wow capsules recently and I thought they might be a little too strong but im having a hard time getting these to feel like they work at all. I think perhaps they might not be as affective as the wow vitamins perhaps there it something more binding or perhaps the other wow had both citrate and oxide and perhaps that is why it works better anything more natural is easy on the body .. I think I will switch back to the wow magnesium next time.you can see the size next to the bottleI hope that helped somehow for you
