I admit I fell in love with every Jar that Weck makes. Quality goes into each and every one of them.Thick glass, the correct size for desserts and small storage, kept in unique fashion that works better than some of the twist on lids.I think that there is even brale writing on the side of the glass. Wow!Great product you will not regret purchasing these lovely jars.I also purchased the larger size and I want to buy more. These are my favorite and I own a LOT of jars.

What's not to love? These jars, with lids and gaskets, are perfect for storing extra chutneys and jams I've made in baking and cooking, and there's no leakage once the gasket is properly fitted. I also love using them to serve individual desserts at the table. Just pop a lid on while they're refrigerating and slip it off to serve. Very pretty presentation! No gasket needed for the latter use, unless you have a particularly clumsy person in the house who likes to forage through the fridge. Love these!

These jars are soooo cute! I would definitely recommend. All the lids, clamps were included and fit. Perfect for a smaller sourdough starter! I think I squealed when I opened the box!

I use these jars to pack breakfast yogurt parfaits/overnight oatmeal for busy family members on the go. They are the perfect size and shape. You can get plastic lids which fit, or use a silicone stretch lid instead of the glass and clips- whatever works best for your needs/wants. They are heavy duty, wash easy in the dishwasher, and can also be used for canning or preserving small servings of something. The sealing rings can be reused if you are careful opening the jar, and are currently easier to find than reliable metal lids. I have them in muliple sizes as well, and love them all.

Bought these a bit on a whim, and I’m so SO happy with this purchase.I bought the Weck *tulip* jars, specifically because they can withstand baking in the oven, and the pictured recipe shown it baked in the specific sized jar.None of my jars came damaged! That was something I worried about upon placing order. I’ve seen other reviews not particularly in favor of the metal clips to secure the lid. I think it makes securing the jar much more premium and sophisticated-like. Storage of these in the fridge is also nice and sophisticated being able to easily stack them on top of each other. Cleaning these is super easy too! All in all, will definitely be buying more Jars from Weck, and would be a great gift for anyone!

The jars are great, they hold a lot more quantity than they appear they would. The only issue is the annoying closure. When removing the clasps (there are 2), if you aren't extremely mindful, they fly across the room. Putting them back on is a hassle as well, the rubber seal is difficult to center on the jar lid, then you have to hold it down while attempting to clasp the annoying clasp back up. I did not understand what i was looking at in the photo. I thought the clasp was attached to the jar. I have never seen one like this before.

Weck jars are a great value for my money. I love I can stack them on top of one another to store them in my cupboard. This purchase was for the smaller jar for my sourdough starter. I have purchased many Weck jars and will continue to use the because of the high quality.
