They worked like a charm! I initially made the mistake of using a regular angled brush for my first two coats, I also worked while it was fairly warm out so my first two coats turned out very streaky and not so hot lol. I decided it was time to get these special sponges for the finish work. These sponges made a smooth finish, covered the streaks and the uneven paint from them initially drying too fast during the first two coats. They were much easier to work with than the angled brush I initially used. In all I did 3 coats total with this sponge being the third. I can’t speak to how these work with other paint as I’m not sure if they’re specific to this brand, but I can say that they worked well for me! I would love to know if they can be used for all coats or if they’re more designed for top coat. This is as my first experience repainting furniture so I am certainly a Newby but I thought they turned out very well and am very happy with the final product! Definitely worth the money and I recommend them!

I paint a lot of old pieces of furniture and often I have trouble using a brush for rounded edges and corners. This piece really helps out to get paint into those areas. Can also use for top coats too. Very easy to clean and re-use to get my money’s worth.

I got tired of brush strokes so I tried these. They are wonderful! These sponges are easier to hold than a brush to start with and no brush lines. I refinished my entire kitchen with these from paint to top coat.

I have experience painting cabinets using various methods, including chalk paint as a prep layer, Sherwin Williams paint, and a spray gun. While that process required significant effort - like watering down paint and cleaning tools- it delivered great results.Wanting to simplify the process, I decided to try this product and followed the manufacturer’s recommendations. I used the complete set, including the deglosser prep wipes, paint foam sponge, and the all-in-one paint. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. Despite following the instructions carefully, the finish turned out uneven and unattractive, as shown in the pictures.Additionally, the foam sponge was problematic—it began to lose pieces during application, leaving marks and imperfections on the painted surface. This significantly affected the overall finish and added to my frustration.This product did not meet my expectations and felt like a waste of time and money. I cannot recommend it based on my experience. If you're looking for professional-quality results, I would suggest exploring other options.
