I am writing this review 5 years after purchase. This little thing is amazing. Not only is it a great back scratcher, I have found it has many other uses as well. I clean this scratcher with a disinfecting wipe every day and it has stood the test of time (and cleaning). I find myself using it to pick up things off the floor since I am unable to bend down at the moment. I've used it to grab my phone charger cord when I dropped it on the floor. I've used the little cupped hand to pick up my Beats ear buds that I dropped, I've used it as a grabber to pull things towards me such as blankets, a bowl of food, the TV remote, etc. I'm in my mid 40's and never thought I'd be so laid up. I've had two back surgeries and this little gadget has been invaluable in more ways than one. I can scratch my back or my foot with this since I can't reach right now. This little tool would be great for seniors or people who are temporarily laid up like I am. It has a telescopic handle so it can stretch out a few feet or it's about 10" or so closed, and it fits in a drawer. It's also good for swatting away annoying people LOL!

Their product is not the same and is of inferior quality. For anyone who purchased this item, please contact Bolo to report it and request a refund. I recommend ordering one of the regular colors sold by a US merchant and fulfilled by Bolo. When you receive your order check it carefully to ensure it's of sufficient build quality and compare it to pictures posted in the reviews here.****I received a genuine product, although the handle on mine is not labeled. It's very sturdy and the telescoping handle has just the right amount of tension so that it will not slip out of position when I'm scratching my back. It's long enough for me to reach the edge of my pants when reaching in from the top with the handle fully extended, so I don't have any problems reaching any part of my back. The hard rubber on the handle has a good grip and I have no problem keeping the claws toward my back. I keep one of these in my bag and it's great to pull it out whenever I have a terrible back itch, which I always get in the middle of my back between my shoulder blades, the most difficult or impossible part to reach. It's not perfect, however. I read another review that mentioned the sharpness of the claws and apparently this is known as the the sharpest (or one of) the sharpest back scratchers on the market. I've never owned a bamboo or plastic one so I can't compare but the wooden ones look much duller than this one. For me, it works to calm the itch, but it's just not as sharp or satisfying as having actual fingernails scratching the itch. I think it's a combination of the sharpness and the size of the scratching surface (an adult's hand with five fingernails vs. this tiny claw can cover a lot more surface area.) Nonetheless, it does it's job well and it's convenient to have on hand.

Wer, wie ich, immer einen Rückenkratzer griffbereit hat, der hat auch schon so einige davon entsorgt... Meist krankt es daran, dass die Teleskopstangen, auch wenn man sie nicht "bis zum Anschlag" rauszieht, relativ schnell brechen.Hier dagegen stimmt einfach alles: Die Stangen erweisen sich als deutlich stabiler (besser verarbeitet?), der "Kratzer" als solcher ist ebenfalls perfekt: Nicht so lasch wie manche Holzkratzer, bei denen man kaum spürt, dass sie bereits im Einsatz sind, aber auch nicht so, dass man wie ausgepeitscht aussieht. Es liegt nur noch daran, wie kräftig man selbst drückt, dann bekommt man genau das, was man will.Ebenfalls super: Die Kratzhand dreht sich nicht! Mal ehrlich: Ist es nicht nervtötend, wenn man gerade die richtige Stelle erreicht hat und loslegen will, und die "Kratze" sich in genau dem Moment dreht, man sie also erst wieder umdrehen und mit der Mission erneut beginnen muss?!Nicht so hier! Bin froh, gleich 3 gekauft zu haben, so bin ich an Schreibtisch und Bett versorgt und habe noch eine in Reserve! ;-))
