5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Castors for the Money
I buy these castors for wooden workbenches I build as a hobby. The castors are the most common add on and these castors are excellent! They are heavy duty, full swivel, and take only a couple of minutes to install. Customers complement the ease of the locking mechanism and how smoothly they roll. Highly recommend, probably the best value out there.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality!
Fast delivery, good quality and good price for set of 4.100% satisfied.
4.0 out of 5 stars Soft rubber
These are great casters for light loads. The rubber is pretty soft so it flattens out and makes it hard to get the load rolling. But after you get past the flat spot they work great and locks are very good.

These wheels are very sturdy. I used them to mount onto a platform that I sat a reclining chair on in order to move around the room when not in use in order to save space. They work excellently for that purpose and support a large amount of weight with not a single issue. They are not scratching my finished hard wood floors in any way. Great value when compared to my local hardware options.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not ball bearing wheels !!!
Both the description and the images say that these use "Double ball bearing for each wheel". The wheels don't use ball bearings at all, just a simple zinc plated steel sleeve bushing (yet still has housings to cover the non-existent ball bearings). This puts them in the same league as the many 60 lb casters sold on Bolo and makes me extremely dubious of the 300 lb load limit (or 1200 lb load limit for 4) that these advertise. (The swivel does still have ball bearings but it's rare that a caster doesn't have actual ball bearings there)In less critical issues, the fingers of the swivel brake rub the fingers of the swivel even when the brake is fulling unlocked. This makes them less willing to turn.edit: after my first attempted use of these, my review is that they're even worse than I expected. I mounted these on some heavy duty utility shelves and just the weight of the shelving (about 100 pounds total spread over 4 casters) left skid marks randomly across my basement floor as wheels locked up or casters failed to swivel. These are truly awful. Also, in addition to the set of locking casters I bought a set of casters without locks (same seller) but these, instead of having a simple sleeve bushing had a lousy attempt at roller bearings (still not ball bearings as advertised) where the bearing cylinders are only 2/3 of the width of the bearing race so the slide back and forth and don't provide good support at any time. And the tolerances for all of the axle pieces are so bad that the wheel has about 20 degrees of play in it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good buy
Plan to use these to make a new cart for the propane tank/weed torch. I used a plastic crate on a luggage carrier with bicycle training wheels for the old one. I like it on wheels because it's easy to take the tank to fill propane. But, it didn't maneuver that easy while working with just 2 wheels, and the crate is cracking. I hope it will be perfect with 4 wheels on a wooden box, a tank stabilizer on the bottom and a new handle!
2.0 out of 5 stars Heavy duty? Hardly...
My application was for a heavy duty office chair. I'm a big guy who is tired of buying heavy-duty $300.00 office chairs every couple of years. I work from home and can spend up to 12 or more hours a day in my office. With those needs in mind, I designed my own office chair out of a car seat, plywood, oak and a lot of heavy-duty bolts. It's built like a Russian tank - not pretty, but durable, reliable and it gets the job done.I highly recommend a car seat as an office chair for comfort, too.For the casters, my requirements were that they support the weight of myself and the chair, plus fifty percent - about 500 pounds in all. They had to work on all surfaces, and without the need for a "floor protector" (which I destroy on a regular basis as well). Together, these casters were supposed to support 600 pounds, which SHOULD have been sturdy enough to do the job. They were also touted as suitable for any floor, but best on wood floors. The rubber is, indeed, soft, and is completely unsuited to any carpet of any kind, especially in a heavy-load-bearing capacity. The rubber was so soft, it even had issues on cement flooring under load. The wheels tended to catch and make it hard to maneuver the chair (like in rolling around). They did fine with just the chair. They were pretty awful when anyone was sitting in the chair. They were said to be "heavy duty", but they were far from it.The reason they got two stars was simple - after less than two weeks, they're falling apart. The swivel bearings are loose, the collar that surrounds these bearings is loose and worn and the wheels picked up a "clicking" sound that tells me those bearings aren't doing well, either. In short, these casters failed in just about every way imaginable for a "heavy duty" application.I imagine if the TOTAL load is 150 pounds, they'll probably be alright, but even then, the soft rubber is their downfall, likely leading to fatigue at the bearing joints. The metal itself is not terribly thick, but I didn't notice any warping - only wear consistent with side to side motions caused by the wheels not pivoting when a direction change was made. That wear shouldn't have happened under the load it had for the rating these things had. If the rubber were harder and less "sticky", they'd probably have been fine.I replaced them today with these 4 Pack 3 Inch Caster Wheels Swivel Plate on Red Polyurethane Wheels, and the difference is hugely obvious. The casters I replaced them with will get a review in due time, but from the BEGINNING, these new ones are working orders of magnitude better than these rubber based ones did at any point. If your application is medium to light duty on a hard floor, these may work provided you treat them with kindness at all times. However, given the difference in quality (the new polyurethane casters have metal plates more than twice as thick with a much more sturdy rivet, even though they're rated only 50% better than the rubber ones I'm reviewing), I recommend the polyurethane wheels if you truly need "heavy duty".If I get some time, I'll post some pictures of the differences between the two.<Sent from my new, nicely rolling office chair, no thanks to these casters>

This is a very slick set of wheels at a very good price. The rubber is hard but not as wide as typical furniture dolly casters. They seem heavy duty enough and well made. Roll om most flooring with no marking. Very happy with these.
Castor wheels.
Arrived promptly, well packaged. They look well made and sturdy enough. I have given four stars as they have not been put to use as yet.
