Easy to use and the company was very much on top of every step. From the time I ordered the kit to the time I received the results was just under a month. Once they received my dog's swab, it took about 10 days for them to email me the results. I didn't send a picture with the test as I didn't want them to see her - I just wanted to know what she is. We've had our dog for seven years, but she is nine years old. We finally decided to have her tested as we were curious. She is a German Shepherd, but we always thought she was a mix. Nope. She's 100% German Shepherd. Our curiosity has been solved. We already know our nine month old dog is 100% German Shepherd, so we won't be doing a DNA test on her. But, I would not hesitate to use this company again. Great product, great communication, and great company.

This will be my second review as the company had Bolo delete my first review as they apparently didnt want my information to be see. Publicly. Pictured is my dog I had tested. This dog barey weighs 30lbs and is primarily a decker terrier, however we as a family wanted to see if she had any mixes in her and just overall get more info on our adopted pup. Again we already know she is primarily decker terrier, she has the exact size, coloring, eyes, ears. Tail and also the distinct traits deckers have such as forehead wrinkles. Upward swept tail, etc etc. My test was done perfectly, no other dogs in our house so contamination is impossible. We sent the results in the day after Christmas and it took a month exactly to get results.This is where it was very frustrating. We got the results back and like several others have said, they were so far off from our dog it is a physical impossibility that our dog is a mix of any of the breeds listed. Our 30lbs known decker rat terrier came back with 3 breeds, the first two were Lab and Boxer and a mixture of 40-60% each or level 2 on their test meaning she is basically half if each. Both these dog breeds are not only way bigger than what she is in height and weight but have distinct traits that our dog does not have such as boxers short snout and face with a blocky head, long legs, etc. The third breed comes back the only terrier breed found and listed as a trace amount of less than 10%. Oh ok well at least they came up with a terrier right? WRONG! The terrier breed listed was an American Staffordshire Terrier, a 50-80lbs massive dog with a pitbull like head and very thick body. Every single dog listed is over 50lbs, if she was any mixture of those 3 she wouldnt look anything like she does. And would weigh about double what she does.Moving forward I contacted the company through email in which they were prompt to respond initially. I purposely left out the picture on my test as to not skew results after reading the company may do this. In my email to them I supplied the same picture on this review after going back and a few emails regarding the results. The company claimed there is no refunds and the test is accurate. That was until they saw the picture of my Boxer/Lab/Staffordshire mix they claimed. Thats when emails stopped, they havent discussed or responded to my email since asking for a retest to prove the results. Why is this? Because they know their test is a scam, and couldnt possibly come up with those breeds for the dog listed. I would even buy another test if I knew Id be refunded for the false test, but to no avail they stand by their results that my 30lbs decker rat terrier is a Boxer Lab mix. Keep in mind no where on the results were the actual known breed she is, but DNAmydog doesnt care about papers, parent bloodlines or anything, their sham tests trump all the known history of a dog, not to mention common sense. I would question all the results from their lab, especially if you submitted pictures previous to results. Hopefully Bolo lets this review stand and stops supporting companies that are taking money for a product that is obviously not real.PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND NOT LISTEN TO THESE REVIEWS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

We were very happy with DNA my Dog! The kit arrived quickly and was very easy to do. The instructions for getting our pups sample were simple and smooth. It did take awhile for the sample to arrive to their facility, but the communication from DNA my Dog was great and reassured me at times it takes longer for them to get the sample. When they got her sample it took about 2.5 weeks for results. The results were easy to read and the break down was very helpful. Also understanding each of the breeds she is helps us with her training. I would definitely recommend their company!

So, I get a rescue dog from a shelter. Absolutely wonderful and adorable dog. I started to wonder, what is she, so I decided to find out. I waited and waited, no response. I finally reached out to the company. It seems the results were sent to my email and available in my online account, ops my error. What impressed me was the speed and professionalism the company responded to my…less than calm email. I was immediately provided my results along with directions how to review my dogs results in the future. Additionally my dogs results were surprising but after understanding each breed of her mix, information provided in her report and verifiable online, I believe they are accurate. Getting my dogs DNA has become a wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone. With plenty of choices for this type of service, I must say this company has met or exceeded every expectation I’ve had for this service! I recommend them to everyone! Enjoy your results!

Test does seem accurate and the customer service was second to none. That being said, I needed customer service because the kit took SO LONG to process. I think it took a full 3 weeks to be received by the company and another 2 weeks(ish) to get the final result. But if you are patient and have faith in the process- this could be the doggy DNA kit for you! I also paid 70USD.
Still waiting for results.
The swabs arrived and we took the samples from our dog and sent them back but still have not got the result.
Absolutely worth it. I have bought before, and will buy again from DND My Dog.
I cannot say enough good things about DNA My Dog. This has been the 2nd dog that I have tested, and I will continue to be a customer of theirs for life.My first experience with them was to test my beloved childhood dog, who did not have long left. This was in 2017. Their customer support is fantastic; Quick, kind, and responsive. They walked us through a way to collect a sample from our dog without the kit, as she did not have the time to wait on a kit to arrive. Although we were not even a customer of DNA My Dog at this point, they treated us fantastically and we purchased shortly after. We got the sample from our dog the day before she passed away, and DNA My Dog provided us her test results a few weeks later. What a beautiful gift it is to finally know what breed mix your dog is, after 14 years of loving her.This most recent purchase was to test our two-year old mixed breed simply out of curiosity. Just as with the first time, their customer support is quick and very pleasant to deal with. This test shipped quickly (despite current COVID mail delays), the instructions were very clear, and the time it took between arriving at the lab and being tested was minimal. The online interface for registration is basic, which is perfectly fine for this application.The test itself is one of the lowest-cost on the market. However, it covers an extensive list of breeds. And honestly, this is all just done out of curiosity... they are dogs, so why spend double or triple the price? DNA My Dog does everything you could possibly want for a very reasonable price. And as an added bonus, DNA My Dog is a Canadian company!If you are looking for a DNA test for your dog, I wholeheartedly recommend you go with DNA My Dog.

Pour commencer, l'application n'est pas pratique. Vous entrez toutes les références mais il n'y a pas moyen de les valider.J'ai envoyé le test et j'ai attendu plus de 2 mois pour avoir le résultat.Les résultats sont étonnants mais certaines caractéristiques physiques se retrouvent en lui, tout comme les caractères BA très sensible tout comme mon chien.Il faudrait faire un autre test ADN d'une autre marque pour être sûr.Les résultats arrivent par mail en anglais. Il y a 1 tableau des 3 races trouvées et 1 certificat plutôt sympa.À noter que l'enveloppe est arrivée ouverte mais complète (pas intéressant pour le voleur) et que j'ai modifié mon commentaire qui était à la base négatif car je n'avais pas de réponse.
