This net fits 100% perfectly in the trunk if my 2017 GTI-S . It's sturdy enough to hold all my wintertime stuff in summer...and it holds my fragile groceries and emergency water/food too! In winter it just kinda hangs out, but being as I'm in Wisconsin, I keep an electric blanket in my car in case the car poops the bed in -30° weather so my dog & I don't die. It also holds emergency human & dog food & water as I've sat on the interstate for 10 hours before waiting for an accident or weather to be cleared. Now if they only made a private car toilet lol!

I ordered this for my mkV R32, same as Rabbit/GTI, and the fit perfectly on 4 back hook attachment points. The webbing floats just off of the rear of the back seats. It has a pocket to hold smaller items and provides secure tension to items placed between seat back and netting.

It fits to my MK7 GTI. The height of the net is a little too long, but it does not affect functionality.However, there is a strong petroleum smell. It reduced to acceptable level after I washed it before I use it.
