This is the best home perm I have used since many companies have stoped making them and drug stores stopped selling them. This perm is easy to use, not like the beauty shop perms that professionals can only buy and do for you. There are 3 varieties to choose from. All work well depending on your hair and needs.

The manufacturer has changed the product. You do not have to add a heat activator to the perming solution, it now comes premixed (it does not get hot). They also included a small bottle of preconditioner before perming and an after-perm conditioner in the packaging. It does not come with the cotton to keep your skin from coming into contact with the perming solution, so you will need to go buy some or have other means to protect your skin. This is an easy-to-use product.

I disliked that the method and timing of product has changed so drastically over past couple years. I did do it as instructed and it was a pain. This was my GO TO PERM for decades but I am not going to buy or use this brand again. The perm was soft and hair was damp all night after putting this post perm leave in conditioner. Start it early in the day and plan on doing not much else rest of the day, or buy another brand.
