It's really nice quality. I'm 6'0, 220lbs and I got the XXL. It's a little LONG but that's my only complaint. Pretty cool costume for the money!!!

Fabric is fairly thick and the cut is roomy inside. Separate shoulder/hood and robe pieces are easy to deal with.The 100% poly doesn't breath at all and gets warm fast so it will be unbearable on a hot dusty day at Renaissance Faire or stuffy at a crowded party. Otherwise, it could be comfy on a cold halloween night.Disappointed that it's a full 4-5" shorter than the chart showed. I'm average adult male size and bought the biggest size so it would hang below my feet while wearing platforms, but it's exactly my height (this is second costume item bought that is much shorter than stated, WHY!?)Also wish it had side slits so pants pockets are accessible. Not too hard to cut at seams and reinforce though.Generally recommended for most anyone who doesn't mind thicker, plastic, unbreathable fabric.

I purchased 2 of these costumes to dress my monk reaper props. They are a medium weight, have a nice drape to them and the included accessories were a nice bonus. If you are above 6’ tall, I would definitely opt for the largest size.

I purchased this to use as a Halloween costume. Overall, for what I paid for it, I'd say it's reasonable. The construction quality seems solid. Like many others have said, it's quite long. I am 5'10" tall, weigh around 185lb (I comfortably wear a men's large shirt, and 32x32 Levi's.) The robe (size large) gets under my feet a little, and the sleeves completely cover my hands. I can't complain too much about the rope that it comes with. The cross is flimsy (and only an accessory for me - I bought the robe for the robe.) When the robe arrived, it came folded in a plastic bag, which is just fine, but the wrinkles from folding were really intense. I immediately washed and dried it. No washing instructions were provided, but it's 100% polyester or rayon, so I figured it couldn't hurt too much. While there was no damage done to the fabric or the color, the wrinkles held strong. It took me about a half hour to iron out about 90% of the wrinkles. I really can't figure out why they chose to use this fabric. Things would be so much nicer had they used a cotton blend - it'd look better, be more comfortable, and way easier to care for.Ultimately, if you need a robe to use as a costume, and if you don't want to spend big bucks, this'll probably be the one to choose. It is relatively well made, for the money. I just feel they could make some improvements.

I am 6'5" 330 lbs and took the chance that the XXL would fit. I was afraid I would be sending back but it fits perfectly. Will be great for my next Halloween character. Great material and accessories as well. More than worth the price.
