I was looking for a portable speaker for my football tailgate parties that had clear sound even at high volume. I usually use a USB flash drive filled with thousands of songs so I needed a speaker that could amplify them with little or no problem. I really don't use the microphones since I don't do karaoke and my singing voice would scare adults, children and small rodents. I've had two other portable speakers in the past with varying degrees of success. One was a Pyle which died on me after one year, and the other is a QFX which is still working but the rechargeable battery has diminished quite a bit. My previous experiences with these things helped me to try and find an even better speaker that wouldn't break the bank account. Since I usually only use it for football season I always hope the battery will last about three or four years before it fades into oblivion. The PRORECK FREEDOM 15 seemed like a good fit for my needs. My order arrived very quickly but my first speaker was defective. The battery was completely dead. Charging didn't help and it would only play with the electrical cord plugged in. I contacted the seller through Bolo and they responded quickly (Thank You Vivian!). They sent me a replacement within a few days. Even though I've only had it for a few days it has performed very well. The sound is great...much better than my previous portable speakers. It also gets very loud. I barely turn up the volume and it blasts my music clearly (and it has a volume for MP3's and also main volume which work together to make it even louder). The Bluetooth works with my phone even though I rarely use it that way. The EQ works on the back and also has various modes for it on the remote. It comes with two wireless microphones but since I don't use them I can't comment on their reliability. I don't know how long the battery will last before I have to charge it but I'm guessing it would be between 3 or 4 hours (I'll find out during my first tailgate party in about three weeks). The speaker is very large but not extremely heavy. It has a hard plastic shell with wheels and it's easy to roll it around and to also pick it up by it's side handles. The remote control is rather small and I hope it lasts a while. My experience with remotes on portable speakers has been that they don't last long and stop working within a year or two. Hopefully this will be different. The question of durability will only be answered as time passes. I have to give great praise to the seller, PRORECK AUDIO for their amazing customer service. I buy a lot of stuff and much of it is electronic equipment. I rarely come across a seller that works as hard to make their customers happy. PRORECK AUDIO's Vivian Lee was fantastic in fixing my problem in an extremely fast and courteous manner. I would be more than happy to shop with them again. So, in conclusion, the speaker seems perfect for my needs and hopefully it will last long enough to get me through many of my pre-game football parties!

I am an experienced musician of more than 15 years. I play with a working band and wanted to improve our sound quality by positioning a PA at the back of shows for a clean an crisp sound.These speakers are great quality for the price!Pros- battery and wireless design! This was the selling feature for me. Tripping hazards kept us confined to the stage. Not anymore!-moderate to high quality stands and features.-reasonable to moderate speaker quality... don’t kid yourself, it’s not going to sound like JBL for this entrance price range. For the money, excellent sound quality.-Wireless microphone , reasonable quality.—Cons—-Battery light indicator doesn’t give a realistic reading of the charge. Flawed design not having an active built in voltage regular. I have fixed this problem by hardwiring a $20 battery tender to the battery prongs. Simple DIY project.-if you’re going for two of these in tandem. Only 2 microphones will opperate on the shared frequency. Not 4 mics at once. Good news is the 2 mics will be picked up by both speakers at the same time. That’s it for Cons! It’s a great speaker!!!- if you are wanting this as a DJ or for music that hits hard, this is not designed as a subwoofer, rightfully so! You need a subwoofer in tandem. Most PA’s are designed that way. If your goal is to shake the building get a subwoofer. Hint- a cheap home entertainment self powered subwoofer will go a long way when supplemented with the system if you’re looking for that thud.About Prowreck, I’m very impressed with Prowreck’s costumer service! My speaker was damaged from FedX during shipping. Prowreck responded immediately after I called Bolo. The rectifyed the situation in a professional and speedy manner. I’m very impressed!!!!I was very surprised at the quality margin of this product. I expected less and was pleasantly surprised. This item could easily sell for double or more at a guitar center....

The product works wonderfully. The battery life is good, the sound is good and the included microphones work well (and my XLR corded microphone works well with it also), the Bluetooth function is easy to set up and play songs from a smartphone or iPad. Our box was badly damaged during shipping, but surprisingly, when we opened the box the product was in perfect working order. There was only a small scratched area. The company graciously offered to send us a new product at no charge, which we gratefully declined (we had submitted a return request before we found that the product still worked and cancelled the request but the company honorably responded very quickly).

My problem was with the sound. I had great sound with music played via Bluetooth. I had great sound when I just used the mic alone. But using them both at the same time was a problem. When singing in the mic the music would cut out and you couldn't hear it. Maybe it was something I wasn't doing correctly. So I tried to reach out to the company via email and got no response, although I'd seen many reviews of how good the company was with replying to customers. After a eek or two of no response, I ended up returning the unit and had to spend $60+ for shipping to return. Sa mentioned the music alone was great and the mic alone was great, just wish someone could have responded with a fix to the problem and I would have given 5 stars.****UPDATED **** The seller did respond to me shortly after my review. They replaced my original unit with a new one. The new one has worked great and with no issues. Thanks ProReck for all your help in resolving this matter!
