Why not? Been using this salt for a long time. Has some minor nutritional benefits but I like it mostly because of the taste. I'll keep using it except when cooking pasta in water. Why waste a good quality salt when cooking it in water since the water is going down the drain. If I need more salt then I add at the end otherwise I use this pink salt on everything that needs a hint of a nice flavored salt. Much better taste than the cheap stuff from the grocery store.

This is healthy salt to use but if you use this in cooking cut down on the amount of Himalayan Salt vs. regular salt or your baked goods etc. will be saltier than you may like. Otherwise, worth it.

This salt, from ancient salt deposits, is mined. It came from the sea a very long time ago. Other salts, like sea salt, are made from dried up seawater. That's fine as long as the ocean is clean. Expensive salt, like fleur de sel, is made from water in the Mediterranean which is quite polluted. This pink salt was formed millions of years ago and has no pollution. It has a good flavor and the fine grind makes it easy to use.
