The Drymistat tubes are what I use. They work great and last longer than any other gel/bead systems I have tried. I keep two per box and one per drawer in the cabinet. When the gel level gets a little low after a couple of years I buy a new one or two and replace the oldest tube(s), using the remaining gel in the discarded one(s) to top the others off. These tubes I just bought were the real deal...new, sealed, and filled to the brim with gel. I'm happy!!

i have 11 humidors, 8 hold 100 cigars and 3 hold 400 cigars....i also have 4 cigar lockers that hold 300 cigars each...i found that 2 work fine in my 100 count and in my 300 and 400 humidors i put 5 in each....once every 3 months i fill with distilled water only...for the most part the humidors stay around give or take 70.....a couple of the locker humidors dont seal as tight so i have recently added a couple more in each box and that did the trick...this product is excellent but i would recommend one more thing to cigar collectors...once every 3 months i put a slice of apple in each humidor to pep them up a tad and i find that many of my cigars after having some over 10 years are as fresh as can be...my collection is 177 different cigars and a total of around 2100 and i like to smoke a different cigar every day...i highly recommend this product....president smoke out club of monterey county...cheers

Quick, easy and efficient. Very satisfied with them. However, the one stick per 25 cigars is more of a guideline than anything else. Depending on the humidor' size (50, 100, 150 capacity, etc), seal and how well its seasoned, you may need more. I have a glass top, 150-capacity box with shelf, and usually keep 50-60 smokes in it, but need 3 Drymistats to keep it between 69-71% (upper shelf, which only has a dozen or so smokes has two sticks and stays at 69%; lower box, which has most of the cigars only needs one stick to stay at 71%). I have calibrated digital hygrometers top and bottom, so am comfortable with accuracy of the humidity readings. They do last 3 months before needing recharging. I also have a 25-capacity humidor that stays right at 70% with a dozen or so smokes. Bottom line, these really work, but you have to experiment with your humidor to find out exactly how many to use, and in the case of larger boxes, where to place them.

They work as I would expect and were a great price. They are designed to lay along side with your cigars and are the best to add to the middle of your cigar batches to provide that little extra humidity. I use them as a compliment to my humidity beads and it gives that extra little moister that I like for my sticks while taking up minimum room. The price was right and they are working very well so feel safe in ordering these to keep your smokes healthy.

These tubes really are great. I put a couple in my desktop humidors (I have 3) and it keeps everybody happy. I was not convinced about that gel stuff - until I got these tubes. I'll never give it another thought now - it works fine. I recommend this over the small bottles because it is easier to lay this tube down among my sticks - like it's just another cigar - as opposed to having to make room in my humidor to seat that fat little bottle. I'm sure the bottle would work fine, but these things act just like another cigar - lay it down and forget it till next month.

Purchased the to make travel humidors from heavy duty zip lock bags when I travel. The only drawback is that the cap come off easy and sometimes open and spell their contents. I just scoop the moisture beads up and repack them. They do a great Job at keeping the cigars moist and fresh. Will buy more soon.

I have a 4-drawer humidor that has been impossible to keep at 70% with regular block humidifiers. I took them out and put one of these in each drawer, and no more issues; every drawer in the humidor stays constant at 70% now. They soak up water incredibly fast, too; you can fill them up when they start getting low and in five minutes they're ready to lay back down without leaking. And they eat up less space in the humidor. In short, they are great. I will never ever go back to using old-school humidifiers and messing around with sticky propylene glycol.

These are the best humidifier I have found to date. They lie in with my cigars and don't leak. Easy to recharge and work great. My digital meter indicates they last well and as noted easy to recharge. I have abandoned the old foam style humidifiers that came with my humidors. I have half a dozen humidors of various sizes and these tubes work great in them all. I have aged some of my puros for 5 or more years without loss of quality.
