In my 40s now, I tend to use very expensive products in hopes of making some very significant improvements. (The jury is still out regarding this logic.) Like, at one time, I calculated how many products I was using at night and the total cost of those products was over $800. What the....But in doing so, when the weather changes or my skin ends up incredulously drier for whatever reason, I'm loathe to pile on 3-5x the amount of moisturizer I need to feel moisturized because it's such a waste of money. Secondly, after a few years of these skincare regimens, I also wanted an option where I didn't have to put 15 minutes aside, twice a day, to go through my face-keeping ritual after washing my face--something easier, quicker, but equally moisturizing even without the added benefits of rejuvenation, restoration, etc. That's 30 minutes out of every single day dedicated to skincare.St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer fits the bill. I keep this and Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera ~ 12 oz on my bathroom counter top for the "quick version" of skincare where my primary goals are merely making skin clean and moisturized. I've used Thayer intermittently throughout my entire life, so that's always just a good astringent to have on hand. But I have to say that I am quite pleased with this St. Ives moisturizer. It's very effective at moisturizing your face and feels quite creamy/greasy for about a minute before the entire thing is just sucked right into your skin. And then it's the perfect amount of moisture. Funny thing is that the same happens no matter how much or how little of it I use; it's all absorbed! Also, whatever remains on my hands, I rub into my arms and hands--and they are the softest they have ever been. :)So this product is no replacement for La Mer or any other intensive moisturizer. But it is absolutely fantastic for its simple purpose of keeping skin moisturized. I wish it was available in pump formula, but I use a scoop to take out a good amount and just slather it all over my face/neck and say, "Ahhhhhh." But take note that these days, my skin is SO dry that upon washing my face, I have about 35 seconds before I feel like I'll crack if I smile. By that point, I've wiped my face down with the witch hazel, and have a good blob of this in my hands, ready to save the day in all of 45 seconds vs. 15 minutes per face-washing.I highly recommend giving this a try. And my GOD, it's so economical, too!

I love this. I found it a long time ago and have been using it for years. Really good for your face and skin. Lightweight, moisturizing. Can take a while to soak in so make sure no white spots before going outside. I use it in the morning and night and occasionally mix with some aloe and it’s awesome, does not clog my pores or irritate my skin. Great for body as well. I will use it forever, I hope they never change the formula.

This lotion is amazing! It makes my skin soft for 24 hours straight. It gives a lovely sheen, but isn't greasy. Just moisturizes so nicely and has a beautiful scent. Not overpowering, just nice and fresh. I'm usually fussy about scents and generally prefer unscented things, but this is just a clean, uplifting, light scent. Very nice in my opinion.

I have been using this product for at least 6-10 years when I first saw it on the Dr. Oz show. For the price this cream works very well. I am 68 years old and this product keeps my face and neck moisturized and smooth. Have tried other more expensive face creams but I keep coming back to this one. I have sensitive skin and this cream does not cause me any irritation.

I like most St. Ives products and have used this face cream for years -- it was even better a few years ago but they changed the formula for some inexplicable reason. Now not as good but still better than other creams that are either too greasy or have too much fragrance. I have psoriasis and will itch or break out in blisters if I use soap or lotion with perfume, but this product does not cause any problems.

This is my second time buying this moisturizer. St Ives used to make a gel version of this in the 1990's (it was purple and came in pump form) and I was so sad to find that product discontinued because it was absorbed quickly and didn't leave my skin greasy. So when I found this a year ago, I was thrilled. It isn't in gel form, but it also is absorbed quickly and does not leave me feeling or looking shiny or greasy.One jar lasted me a full year, that's from using 1-2 times per day. A little bit of this goes a long way. It doesn't really have a scent which is good because I have sensitive skin. It doesn't clog my pores. I haven't developed any wrinkles in the past year (I am 36). And the price - awesome, especially for a year's supply! Comparable products at trendier stores can cost $60 for just mere percentages of ounces, it's crazy.I hope this is never discontinued.

This cream is fabulous. It is rich and absorbs well into the skin. I think it is mainly a face cream but I use it anywhere my skin is dry. It has a very clean light fresh air scent that fades away so it does not linger. I absolutely love it.

I have been ordering this product regularly for some time and can say its the best moisturiser that works fab with my skin. I have never had a problem with my order, but my last order was not recieved by me..... i received an email to say my parcel had been left by a shed or garage, i live on a street with terraced houses and none of us have driveways, garages or sheds.... I was so confused, and after speaking to a very helpful Bolo repersentative i was given a refund. I have reordered this product again today (as i do not have much left) and am keeping my fingers crossed i will receive it. 🤞😊
