I used it in a recipe that called for a can of cream of chicken soup. I had a guest who is gluten free so I tried this. It worked fine in my recipe. I had to cook it before using it which was an extra step, but it thickened and everyone loved the casserole I made and you couldn’t tell that I used anything different than cream of chicken soup in a can. I’d buy it again if I couldn’t find GF soup. It definitely is more expensive than a can of soup!

I've tried many vegan versions of cream of mushroom soup, but most don't measure up. This one is perfect - tastes almost identical to the regular version with no weird aftertaste. Will definitely buy again.

This product is just as advertised. I love that it has the flavor of canned soups but gluten free and it is shelf stable (Bonus). I can make up as much as I want at any one time without having to open up a whole can of soup. And eating creamy potatoes is now possible for all the gluten free folks in my circle. Thanks for such a great product!!!!

Getting hit with a truckload of food allergies later in life, my food options became very limited. From eggs to simple chicken soup, it became shockingly difficult to find stuff to eat, particularly the easily prepared stuff, like just dumping a can of cream of chicken in with noodles and such. So began the hunt for foods that meet the very limited criteria for not having a high chance of killing me. Sadly, it's a simple fact that most things that are allergen-free (I have all the major ones) are gross.Fortunately, this is pretty good. I can't say it's a perfect facsimile of the real thing but it does it very well, and I'm a repeat customer so far. Can't say the same for most alternatives; mayo, eggs, etc.... I miss you. The only real downside is the price, especially when compared to a can of cream of chicken soup. It's not so outrageous that I'm unwilling to pay it, but it still hurts the wallet a bit.

I used this for a chicken casserole for a gluten and dairy allergic friend. Used gluten free panko and olive oil for the topping.
