You just have to be really careful with it. Its made of bamboo so its a bit delicate . It cleans off very well with vinegar and prevents the mold. Already made several delicacies with it like shrimp chips.

Haven't used it yet, but it's identical al to the one we'd had for about 15yrs. Wife says it comes with a couple cotton cloths, assuming to regulate the mousture/heat. Should last another 15 yrs.

This was amazing. It worked so well. I did accidentally burnt it to a crisp but that’s because I managed to steam it in a pan without water by not watching that my water had evaporated. So I bought a second one and now I know better!

I read the reviews with the pictures of how this is a bit wonky construction wise but decided to bite anyway because I needed the 8 inch size. When I received it, it looked OK. When I used it, first time, it started contorting and bending out of shape. It is usable, so not sending it back but the quality leaves something to be desired. Added the picture of the lid which is caving badly and is not a nice dome, it is warping. I've had Joyce Chen bamboo steamers and they are wonderful and last forever. This is not in the same league. When you read the reviews reporting poor manufacturing, believe them.

Meine Frau kann mit diesen Produkt optimal ihre Asiatischen Gerichte zaubern.Es gibt billig Dampfgarer und etwas teurere.Dieses Produkt ist recht günstig aber kein billiges Produkt. Hmmm ja.Billig vom Material her. Es ist ein sehr gutes und stabiles Produkt was einiges aushält ohne direkt zu schimmeln.Daumen hoch von mir.
