These cookies are yummy with big chunks of candied ginger. They are hard to find in my local stores. I’ve purchased them several times from Bolo. The price reflects the freshness, good packaging (they don’t arrive shattered) and the fact that they come from the UK.

cookies are packaged in plastic tray, similar to girl scout cookies. Each cookie is good size with a nice crunch and chewy bits of ginger. I got this as a gift during the holidays and it was great with a cup of tea. Not many cookies in the box, but they are packed well and good flavor. Not sure the price was a good bargain, but it was very convenient to purchase these here along with other gifts. I would recommend them, if you like strong ginger flavor and don't mind the minimal quantity in the box.

But it’s not too difficult to ignore the repeated sting on my wallet with these ginger stem biscuits. I’ll happily pay the premium, they’re that good. Really. Thick… Crunchy… And with a real ginger zing. Love them.
