I ordered a manual typewriter before getting this electric one from Nakajima and sent the manual back. It was so cheap and the keys did not strike well, so I tried an electric one and glad I did. This one is perfect. The keys are very sensitive so a very light touch is needed. Will require digging back into typing class training in school because proper form and a light consistent touch is needed. I tried the features and everything is working great! It centers and word erases perfectly. I've read that some got a foreign keyboard or wheel but this one is in English as described. I love it & for the money it is a great deal! Very light and will be perfect for my purposes. I have to say, I have missed having a regular typewriter. Computers are great but there are just some things that a typewriter is better for!

My old IBM gave up the ghost and I found that typewriters are only made and sold by one company. I ordered with hopes that I would get a serviceable unit to do the things around the office that the computer printer just cannot do. What I got was beyond my expectations. This is an excellent unit and well made to boot. The seller shipped quickly and it was well and securely packaged. Took it out of the box, plugged it in and began using it. Have not experienced any problems or shortcomings. I recommend this unit and company/seller to everyone.

I just received this defective typewriter, all the letters are mixed, if I want to write A it will write G instead and so on.I don't know what to do as they are not giving me the option of exchange or return, please help!!

I liked this typewriter and it came packed so securely I had a hard time unpacking it! LOL! I have not used it yet but I tried typing on it and the print came out so clearly and am pleased! Thank you!

This type writer is easy to use and was affordable.>>>However, when using the hyphen, hash, or dollar sign, it types two vertical lines instead. The correction does not cover the entirety of the vertical lines, which is very frustrating. As long as you don't use the hyphen, hash, or dollar sign, then this typewriter works extremely well.(I would have preferred to stick with my Brother typewriter, but they don't make them anymore.)
