i needed another aquarium and this was the best deal i found out there. the lid is made to lift up to make cleaning easy, but the one clamp broke trying to get the lid attached. i ended up taking lid off and buying a full spectrum light. was able to instant cycle with old sponges from other tanks. my betta loves it along with a few shrimp and baby cory catfish.so, 4 stars because of lid clamp breaking so i could not use it. be careful when installing it, cheap plastic

So let me start with the bad.The thermometer is a plastic stip that doesn't work. The horrible plastic plants will hurt most fish. The filter was broken and sounded like a bunch of rocks were grinding inside it. And the light is a super basic on off.Now why you should buy this over all the other tanks. That's the tank and the price. The tank is a perfectly functional 20 gal fish tank. It has a nice lid. And I was surprised I liked the heater. All this for less than what a 20 gal fish tank without a lid would normally cost.Seriously just replace the stuff you don't like. The tank alone is worth the price.My tank has been set up for a month now. Photo attached.

I reached out to company by phone and their contact sheet. No response. Clamps broken on light. Light is wrong light for the tank. Doesn’t fit under the lid at all and can’t go on back of tank due to filter and can’t go on side of tank due to its to long for the side. It’s fully not what’s advertised at all on the lights or how to install at all. The material is flimsy for lid and lid and clamps to lid are broken on one side and lid is cracked. Was a birthday gift I got bc my birthday is this week. Can’t send it back bc I don’t have the box. Figured it would all be new and nothing broken. I even went out and bought new items and rocks and new filters and lucky bamboo to add next week. Just tried tonight to finally take it off the counter and look at it and try to see if I could get it ready to cycle. Noticed the crack in the lid first. Thought okay it’s fine. Won’t be a big deal but nope then notice the lights are not even the right lights for the tank at all. Like no comparison to what’s suppose to come with it. So now I have cracked lid and no lights at all. Not to mention two clamps were broken as well. One for lid and one for the light that doesn’t even fit this tank. So I stopped their and didn’t even bother to look at the rest. Just done and out 160 plus dollars for a twenty gallon tank that has no lid and no lights. I could have bought a 20 gallon at pet store for 20$ on sale for what I got for this. If I could give zero stars I would for lack of communication and failure to help

The media could not be loaded. I bought this tank for my two daughters, ages 4 and 7, who were interested in getting some glo fish. Originally the plan was to go with two small tanks for each of their rooms but quickly learned this was a much more cost effective option as well as more likely to have happy fish and be visually appealing. We liked the look of the Color Fusion versus the Glo Kit because of the color changing option. We have had the tank set-up without water for a couple weeks, finally filled it up and got the filter and heater going yesterday, and have made 6 GloFish a home today. This works really well with GloFish, for those that might be wondering. After a lot of shopping for tanks, I went with this kit because the reviews were positive, the price was right for what you get, and the customer service responses were encouraging that if we had any after purchase questions and needs, they would be taken care of, and they have been.This tank comes with....- A pump and filter. It is quiet other than the water movement, which is actually quite relaxing. You need to change this monthly from what I understand. It has a low and hi setting.- A heater. It is not adjustable but seems to be holding the temp just fine for our Tropical GloFish.- A Color Fusion light. It cycles through the colors, you can press the button to halt in on a color if you wish. There is not an off button, so if you want the light off at night you will need to either unplug it or put it on a timer.So if you are counting that is 3 outlet openings that you will need and you should probably have this going to a ground fault outlet, which we did.- Comes with a few Color Fusion decorations and a really nice sea anemone decoration.-A net, a little packet of water conditioner, and a small packet of fish food.-A Thermometer - ours was missing this, but the company was really helpful in getting that resolved.What you will need to get:- You will need to get some more decorations for sure. No gravel comes in the kit. I bought a total of 34 lbs of gravel, All black for the base and then 2 - 2lbs of color glo gravel, and 2 small bags of gem rocks.- More fish food and water conditioner- A gravel vacuum- A background for the tank. I used black Cricut Vinyl.- The FISH :)April 2019 EDIT:After an estimated 9000 hours the light has quit working. We leave the light on about 12-14 hours a day and shut it off at night. I am attempting to contact company to see about a replacement. I am not finding what they state the life of the light should be, however, other companies that sell similar lights claim a guarantee for 50000 hours. I will let you all know what I find out.After finding a couple different contact emails with various responses one sent me a replacement light. We have the new one on a timer that is one 8 hours per day. We have a llevo and 5 Flo fish in the tank. And pleco like dark to get out and eat that algea so that is why the light settings

Please note, that the Tetra Power Filter Pump that comes with this package is not worth using. Tetra states that it is a Whisper Power Filter that's suppose to be Quit and Dependable. Once I got the tank all set up and running the Tetra Whisper Filter System was very NOISEY. Called the number listed for Product, tech (Not So Much), stated that I need to check the Impeller and reset, and what another 24hrs to see if it aligned. I stated that its not going to fix the issue, so he sent another Impeller and that too was very LOUD. The Whisper Power Filter for 10-20 Gal. I believe is a Design and Manufacturing Flaw. I purchased a Aqueon Quiet Flow 20 power filter. As advertised it is QUIET, have had these Filter Pumps previously and they are Great.

El calentador mantiene una temperatura de 24 a 26 grados y el filtro a pesar de quedarse corto cumple con su función. ( Se recomienda tener filtro de respaldo) La pantalla de led es buena. Por lo que respecta al alimento y al acondicionador, estaría mejor si mandan los botes aunque sean de 250 ml y no sobres de muestra....

Es un buen inicio ya que tiene todo lo necesario aunque en mi caso fue para substituir un pequeño acuario ya que mis peces estaban creciendo. Me parece que al filtro le falta capacidad de filtrado ya que entiendo que si el acuario es de 20 galones el filtro debería poder limpiar 60. Aunque ya lo apoye con otro filtro interno (del acuario anterior que me ayudó a acelerar el ciclado) y un producto que se llama Purigen (recomendado) Igualmente al filtro se le rompió la válvula de regulación de agua haciendo que no subiera por el tubo, pero con un poco de cinta teflón lo repare. Lo demás está bien. El calentador está preconfigurado para la temperatura y no se puede cambiar aunque se mantiene entre los 24 grados. En resumen me agrado la compra y la tapa con luces le dan muy buen aspecto. Ahora que bajo de precio me dan ganas de comprar otro jaja.

Excelente precio por lo que recibes. Las plantas artificiales son muy bonitas y de excelente calidad, nosotros cambiamos algunas solo por gusto, pero el surtido que incluye es más que suficiente tanto en variedad como en cantidad. No me gusta que el filtro whisper funciona con cartuchos desechables, intentaré adaptar algún filtro de gruesos y biológico que se adapte a mi gusto. En general, muy satisfecho con la compra, de hecho ordené también la versión Glo que también está muy bonita.
