I love the way this fits in my hand, left or right, forward or reverse. The little ball rolls smoothly and the motions I use with either hand to shave my head seem intuitive.Hold it once and instantly you know what to do.Love, love, love this concept and design.WINNER! Iām brand new at shaving my head. Barely 3 days in and Iām looking for the āthingā that will help me. I wanted this to be it!I eschew those electric close shave razorsā¦No matter which one they convinced me to purchase saying I would absolutely not get bumps, I always got bumps. No electric for me. My skin and my hair canāt do the electric no matter what the ads say. So no, I am not willing to test out an electric dooobee on my noggin.Iām looking for a good razor. This one looked perfect so I got it.The Good: The Design. Great design! Love, Love Love how it moves. (Did I mention how much I love the design?)The not so good: I think razors and my skin and hair need some kind of cosmic match. (Is it just me?) Seems this must be a fickle environment for these things. What do I know? Anyway, Schick razors never lasted long on the tough hairs on my face. I know people who love them. But not I. Donāt know why.The Gillette 5-blade razor with the vibration thingy lets me use my blades a much longer time. So thatās what Iāve been using on my face for a decade I guessā¦.Back to this little super cool design finger-held razorāthe blade on this guy seems to have the same fatal flaw as the Schick blades? Itās a question mark because I really donāt know. The results are similar: When I use a Schick bladeā¦it works great 1-3 times. After that, the blade seems as though it goes too dull too soon. Shaving hurts. Actually, from the second and third shave each shave got progressively hurtier (made up word because my head seemed to hurt more each pass. Like it was on fire. I hated shaving my head. Or my face. Even the soothing balms burned. Ugh).I took two days off let my head cool down, bought the yellow Gillette blades and put them on my vibrating razor, and tested the shave.Iām now three days with the same Gillette blade and Iām still feeling good. Letās see how long the Gillette blades last on my noggin. So far they lasted longer than this speedster sports cars of the shaving world. I really want to like this.So, on a whim, I tried it again for a 4th shave, but sorry no go. At this pace, I would need a new blade every 3 days? Thatās a bit extra so, hereās my rating.So the A+ on the design. Love it.C- on the blade (for my hair).Caveat Caveat. Please note, barbers have told me that I have super strong hair that is hard to cut, so if you have softer, finer hair, you may not have this problem! YMMV.This review is Just one manās opinion. Sadly, I donāt even really know my own hair or head very well. Usually, for most of my life, someone else cut it. I just washed it. What do I know about how it reacts to blades? Iāve never even really seen the back of my own head. I have little previous experience to compare this to.If the manufacturer/maker is reading this, I am guessing that you make the money on the blade and cannot allow a Gillette blade on your deviceā¦but just in caseā¦A collab would be fab!I wanted to love it, but the blade couldnāt keep me happy.

The media could not be loaded. I tried this wonderful item right out of the box and I shaved my head Saturday night and this is Monday and I have some stubble so right out of the box. I took it and just went over my head dry and oh my goodness what a great shave. Yes I use it in string words to keep bumps down, but it was a sooth shave and the devil came off like magic I recommended itās so easy to hold so light so maneuverable itās

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your time if you like CLOSE shaves, It's just a Gimmick
The advantages of this razor are minimal and do not offset the problems or lack of quality in comparison to it's competitors.The blade quality itself might be better than a very generic store brand or cheap brand (i.e. "care one" or "bic"), but it's still far inferior to products put forth by high quality razor companies like Gillette. It shows in how much irritation my head experienced and how many times one can easily nick themselves.The shape and style of how you're supposed to handle this may be ergonomic ABOVE THE TOP OF THE EAR LINE on the sides and for the top, but as far as reaching anywhere the Ear would be in the path or anywhere you have difficult areas (i.e. bumps some what unique to your own head), it is NOT NATURAL at all. Every time I try and go around the sides of my ear I cut myself or come close to it. Only way to even try and avoid is to grip it from the sides (not ergonomically) in which case why aren't you using a normal razor with a longer handle for that area.Even then, without pressing down so hard you're guaranteed to cut yourself, the blade isn't great so it doesn't get you nearly as close as a Gillette product. I find myself feeling my head less than an hour later and thinking I wish I could shave again (with a better razor).I'm not a big fan of the "Skull Shaver" electric product, I just have one for days I need to be fast, and even that I find gives an equal or better quality shave than this thing, faster.In the rare swipes that you feel you got a good deal of hair, the blade also then gets guncked up quite easily and doesn't clean out quick. Based on the other reviews I read about fragility, I didn't dare bang it on my sink. (Which many other brands will easily tolerate banging it on the edge of the sink if you've gotten clogged before it's time for a new blade.)The only way I can see this thing providing a satisfied person (which I guess must be what the majority of their good reviews come from) is if you are one of those guys who shaves your head just every once a week or less, and has small ears and easy shape skull so that there's less obstacles. But that's not me, and I know I'm not alone based on the number of YouTube guys I've found out there who like it close and regularly. I get that there's the opposite end of the spectrum out there too as described above (I've seen videos by guys who preach it only shaving once every two weeks), but that's not me, and anyone like me should not waste their money / time.I'm just thoroughly un-impressed. It feels like the way the advertise using it is throwing a gimmick at you to sell it, but ignoring these major problems.I will happily be going back to my Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide when my head feels like it has recovered enough.
